The alleged victim, whose name has not been publicly announced, survived the attack and reported the incident to police herself. Shakia Jenkins, 29, was arrested last week for the Miami, Fla., incident on July 15, Miami City police confirms to PEOPLE. A criminal complaint obtained by Law&Crime and reviewed by PEOPLE states the alleged victim reportedly told authorities she met Jenkins on social media in 2023 and maintained a close friendship until a fallout in 2024 following an argument at a Valentine's Day party. On July 15, the two women encountered each other at a dance club in Miami Gardens, a few miles north of Miami, and got into a verbal altercation.
