Who is Parag Tyagi? All about Shefali Zariwala's 2nd husband who rose to fame with Pavitra Rishta
Trigger warning: This article contains mention of death. Shefali Zariwala 's sudden demise has left all her family, friends, and fans shattered and shocked. But the one person whose world must have come crashing down would be her husband, Parag Tyagi. The love of his life is no more, and we cannot even imagine the pain he must be going through at the moment. As we mourn the loss of former Bigg Boss 13 contestant, here's everything you need to know about her husband, who is also an actor just like his late wife. Parag Tyagi's childhood Parag Tyagi was born in Modinagar, a small town in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. From a very young age, he showed interest in fitness and acting. After his schooling, Tyagi moved to Mumbai to give wings to his acting dreams. He initially started off in modelling and fitness training. Parag Tyagi's television breakthrough He got a break in Zee TV's hit show Pavitra Rishta in 2008, where he played Ankita Lokhande 's on-screen brother-in-law. His character was a quiet one, but even without being the main lead, he became a household name. He was later also seen in shows like Jodha Akbar, Brahmarakshas, Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and Aghori, to name a few. Parag Tyagi's film roles Apart from his stint in TV, Parag Tyagi was also seen in several films like A Wednesday, Sarkar 3, and Agnyaathavaasi. Parag Tyagi and Shefali Zariwala's love story Not many know that Parag Tyagi is not late Shefali's first husband. The actress was earlier married to music composer Harmeet Singh of Meet Bros. Right after their toxic marriage ended in divorce, the former Bigg Boss 13 contestant met Parag Tyagi at a common friend's dinner party. Parag has confessed several times in interviews that it was love at first sight for him. He was instantly smitten by the actress. Shefali was hesitant at first, still healing from a toxic past relationship, but Parag's genuine kindness and patience won her over. After dating for 4 years, these two lovebirds tied the knot in August 2014 in a low-key ceremony. The unfortunate news of Shefali's demise has left a void in everyone's heart, and we pray that God gives Parag all the strength to Parag to deal with this loss.

Exclusive- Roopal Tyagi on her experience of working in TV shows says, 'It teaches you how to balance priorities and give your best under pressure'
Actress , popularly known for her role as Gunjan in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, talks about working on Television for years. She shared her experience as a TV actor. She said, "What I truly believe is one of the greatest things about working in television is that it teaches you how to perform under intense pressure. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Whether it's the pressure of time, receiving scripts at the last minute, or having little to no preparation, television trains you to adapt quickly. You learn to truly embody your character so deeply that even if something is thrown at you unexpectedly, you instinctively know how your character would respond. That's an incredible skill to develop." She continued, "In fact, when you see an actor delivering a strong performance on television, it's important to recognize the level of discipline and talent that is required. If someone is doing well in such a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, you can be sure they'll shine just as brilliantly—if not more—in mediums like OTT or film, where there's more time for rehearsal and character preparation." She explained, "Television actors are constantly working against the clock. We often shoot an episode a day and sustain the same character over months or even years. To keep that character fresh, engaging, and emotionally consistent over such long periods takes a tremendous amount of craft. So if someone can pull that off successfully, it says a lot about their calibre as an actor." She added, "That's the beauty of television—it teaches you how to balance priorities, stay focused, and give your best under pressure. It's a tough space, but it builds you up in ways few other formats cant." Talking ahead about her share of struggle she mentioned, "I've been in the industry for around 17 years now—first as a choreographer and then as a television actor, working across both fiction and non-fiction formats. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now One of the biggest things I've observed over the years is the lack of proper guidance in the industry. When I started out, there was no structure at all. We didn't even know who to approach or how to go about things. " "While things are starting to become a bit more organized now, and I do see some positive changes happening, this gap in mentorship and structure has been a long-standing issue—not just in television, but across the entertainment industry as a whole. The fact that things are slowly evolving is definitely a step in the right direction," she concluded. She was last seen in , and is also known for featuring in shows like Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Dill Mill Gaye, Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah, Kasamh Se. She also contested reality shows like Dance India Dance Li'l Masters 2, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8, Bigg Boss 9.
