In the clip shared on Instagram, she is seen having a warm conversation with the saint and philosopher. There were also glimpses of the actress with the team members and press meet, leaving her fans excited.
Dropping the video, she penned, 'Working on a story like #ShankarTheRevolutionaryMan has been so special, and getting into a role that will always stay closer to my heart! The 1st schedule was completed with one of the best teams in my career so far. Thank you for this journey, and I can't wait for you all to witness it."

Shilpa Shirodkar Calls Herself 'Spiritually Inclined'
Reflecting on how the show became a personal experience for her and marked a new chapter in her life, Shilpa, in a recent interview with IANS, shared, 'I have always been spiritually inclined. I enjoy learning, listening, and exploring different kinds of knowledge. So, when this show came my way, it felt like a life-changing moment for me."
'I thought to myself that if I were to be a part of this project, it would offer so much more for me to learn, both professionally and personally," she added.
Shankar – The Revolutionary Man's Storyline
Produced by Modi Studios in association with Rajarshi Bhupendra Modi, the upcoming series is based on the life and teachings of the revered saint and philosopher Adi Shankaracharya. Besides Shilpa, the series features Abhishek Nigam, Rati Pandey, Rajesh Shringarpure, Farnaz Shetty, Manoj Joshi and others.

Up next, Shilpa is all set to appear in the much-awaited pan-India supernatural thriller Jatadhara. The film marks her return to the silver screen after a years-long hiatus. Jatadhara revolves around the mysterious Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple and its hidden mystical lore. It blends mythological elements, suspense, and intrigue into an atmospheric narrative.
Headlined by Sudheer Babu, the film also marks the debut of Sonakshi Sinha in a Telugu-Hindi bilingual project.
