Someone else entitled their review: 'Holy grail concealer', writing: 'Shape Tape lives up to the hype! 'It covers dark circles, blemishes, and redness with ease, and blends like a dream. 'The finish is smooth and long-lasting without creasing. A little goes a long way - definitely worth every penny!' It wasn't for everyone, as with all products there was the occasional review which says there is room for improvement. One person noted: 'Not as good as I thought it would be. The product is clearly visible on skin.' Yet another buyer added: 'I've tried a few concealers but always come back to reordering this as it doesn't crease and it's buildable for preferred coverage so I can adjust my look depending on what I want that day. 17 Things We've Tried, Loved, And Think You Will, Too
We hope you love our recommendations! Some may have been sent as samples, but all were independently selected by our editors. Just FYI, BuzzFeed and its publishing partners may collect a share of sales and/or other compensation from the links on this page. Shopping · And an extra-special "get in here" to all the Swiftie moms, condiment connoisseurs, and tired-eye sufferers. 1. Tarte Big Stick Energy duo that combines the creamy, crease-resistant coverage of the already beloved Shape Tape™ concealer with a diamond-shaped brush with ultra-soft bristles that effortlessly blend and buff for a streak-free finish. This is the stuff blending dreams are made of! "Let me tell you, I am SO obsessed after trying out this product. The photos above are from when I tried it out for the first time after having very little sleep the previous night (and, if I'm being honest, many nights prior, as my baby girl is not a fan of sleep in general). It felt super creamy as I applied it to my skin. The diamond-shaped tip of the stick helped me 'draw' it into the curves of my face as needed. The Shape Tape blur conceal brush also blew me away — it felt so soft against my face and like using a magic wand to blend in the concealer. I didn't even need to apply a second dose to minimize my undereye bags! I've been using the original Shape Tape for years and adore it, but this new version is absolutely going to replace it in my makeup bag simply because it is so much easier to apply. It also blends better than the original with the help of the new brush and, overall, feels lighter on my skin. Consider me a lifelong fan!" — Heather Braga Get it from Tarte for $29 (available in 48 shades). 2. Some tasty hot honey ketchup straight from Glen Powell's very own Smash Kitchen for the perfect little sweet, little heat complement to all your best BBQ creations. Krista Torres / BuzzFeed "I am a huge fan of Glen Powell, so I want to shout out his new condiment line that features 'remixed' flavors like spicy mayonnaise and hot honey barbecue. Everything I've tried has been so good, but my favorite is the Hot Honey Ketchup because I have never tasted anything like it, and I generally do not like ketchup! It has a kick and such great flavor, I have been putting it on my french fries to even my eggs, lol." — Krista Torres Get it from Walmart for $3.97. If you're a condiment lover, you can check out the rest of the full Smash Kitchen collection here. 3. A nine-piece Viking stainless-steel bowl set — including a strainer — so even the tiniest kitchens are never short on vessels for all your prepping, mixing, and serving needs. Each piece nests together for space-efficient storage, and is equipped with so many thoughtful details like coordinating airtight lids for each bowl and grippy silicone bases. A MUST for wild whiskers! "I cook a lot — sometimes for a crowd — so I need plenty of bowl sizes to handle all the chopping, mixing, and general kitchen chaos I encounter on any given day. This set has basically become my sous chef, whether I'm throwing together a big dinner party or just making an easy weeknight meal for my family. The silicone base keeps them from sliding all over the place when I'm aggressively stirring, and the airtight lids mean I can prep ingredients days ahead and stash them in the fridge. The strainer? Just a little bonus. And I'll take stainless steel over plastic any day — non-reactive, non-porous, etc!" — Sally Elshorafa Get it from Bloomingdale's for $99.99 (available in five silicone base colors) 4. A BrüMate Era water bottle if you've been the victim of a soggy lap thanks to other not-so-leakproof tumblers. This one is equipped with a genius two-part straw system, including a stainless-steel core that connects to a silicone-tipped lid with three locking modes for truly spill-proof sippin'. "I recently tried one of these bottles for the first time and I am SOLD. I adore my Stanley cup, but it's not the *best* option for the gym (unless you're planning to do some bicep curls with it). The locking lid really does work! I can twist it, toss it into a tote bag, and move on with my life, knowing it won't spill. I fill it with ice before bed, and when I head out to the gym in the morning, it's still cold!" — Heather Braga This bottle is also a go-to for BuzzFeed editor Maitland Quitmeyer: "It claims to keep ice for over 24 hours! The tapered base is also cupholder-friendly, and the whole darn thing is dishwasher safe, too! Let me tell you, this is my new favorite water bottle. I can lock the lid with a quick twist, and throw it sideways in any tote and not even think *twice* about it leaking at all!" Get it from Amazon for $39.99+ (available in two sizes and 19 colors/styles). 5. Or an Oasis stainless steel tumbler because you know you know that you're gonna forget to lock that lid. This one features all the same cupholder-friendly, dishwasher-safe bells and whistles with a retractable straw design that'll serve as a visual spill-free reminder for when your cup is safe to toss in a bag carefree. "I cannot sing enough praises about this cup! I am obsessed with it for several reasons. It has a bigger straw, which I find easier to drink more water throughout the day. It has a stainless-steel inside, so my drink is literally always cold. It fits in any cup holder, and the best thing about this is that it is leak-proof! The straw literally twists down, and the lever on the top seals it shut. I have thrown it in my beach bag when it was completely full, and not one drop spilled! It has an easy carrying handle and is available in a lot of fun colors. I take it with me everywhere." — Krista Torres Get it from Amazon for $26.99+ (available in two sizes and in six colors). 6. Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth headphones to help you lock in on your work, even when the world around you refuses to quiet down. It's a splurge worth making if you're sensitive to noise, with Quiet, Aware, and Immersion modes that provide just the right amount of noise-cancellation for wherever you find yourself trying to squeeze in some productivity. And that battery life?! Up to 24 HOURS of listening on a single charge. 🤯 "Yes, I bought them because I'm back at work now after having a baby, and working in the same apartment as my baby! He always has someone else taking care of him, whom I trust, but I can still hear him cry from behind my closed door, which intensely stresses me out — pressure on my chest, accelerated heart rate, the whole nine yards. When I slip these on and turn on some white noise or music, I can't hear him at all anymore, so that stress melts away and I can focus on work. Even if I don't turn on audio, it muffles the sounds enough to help me stay on task. I'm deeply impressed with how seamlessly they work. To turn them on, simply put them on your head. To turn them off, take them off. When I put them on, they instantly reconnect to both my laptop and my phone, and play audio from both devices, so if I'm playing music on my laptop and get a text notification on my phone, I hear both things. (If I watch a video on my laptop, then try to also play music on my phone, it won't interrupt the video to play the music. I simply pause the video and try playing the music again.) The charge lasts for a full workday of wearing them, and then some. They have spatial audio, which is fun if you listen to a lot of music that comes in that format. The included carrying case is foolproof thanks to a tag that shows how to put them in so they take up a minimal amount of space." — Natalie Brown Get them from Amazon or Bose for $429 (available in up to six colors). 7. A bottle of Ouai Wave Spray that's a heavyweight champ in the fight against frizz. Apply it to wet or dry hair for effortless beach waves without all the salt and sand. Just hydrated, bouncy locks that air-dry like a dream! "I have naturally wavy (but frizzy) hair, and after trying many products, this is where I've happily landed. Ouai is the first brand I recommend to my fellow wavy-haired ladies. It's light, doesn't leave your locks feeling crunchy, doesn't have an overpowering smell, and keeps hair looking fresh. My only complaint used to be that it didn't come in a massive-sized bottle, but their new formula (that is even BETTER than the first and contains coconut oil and rice protein) comes in both a 3-fl oz bottle *and* a 6-fl oz bottle! Ouai also has a curl cream that I'm a huge fan of — it's lightweight and also does the trick (though the wave spray is still my favorite). In the photo above (right), I literally threw my hair into a half/up situation right out of the shower, gave it a spritz, and moved on with my day." — Heather Braga Get it from Amazon for $16+ (available in two sizes). 8. A ridiculously soft Strato Tech Performance T-shirt for a new go-to that's made from thee softest, stretchiest, moisture-wicking fabric that can keep up with anything you throw at it, from workouts and hikes to long-haul flights and sweating buckets at this summer's family reunion. "Whoever made up the quote 'when you look good, you feel good' kinda nailed it. I've been struggling with motivation at the gym recently, but one of the ways I subconsciously hype myself up is by wearing nice workout clothes, sort of as a way to make the gym feel like more of an event instead of a chore. This particular shirt is super soft and comfortable, but the best part is that I genuinely feel good when I wear it (I know that sounds stupid, but it's true!). Think about it: Don't you feel all nice and cute when you dress up for a fancy dinner? Why shouldn't going to the gym be the same thing? I still love working out in old, cut-up tank tops, but when I'm struggling and want to look and feel good, I grab these shirts. (For reference, I'm about 160 lbs, 5'11", and wear a size small)." — Spencer Althouse Get it from Vuorifor $54 (available in men's sizes XS–3XL and 14 colors/styles). 9. A pair of reusable self-adhesive silicone cover-ups so you can fully enjoy the season of strappy tops and backless dresses without stressing over clashing bras or pasties that refuse to stay put. "I can never get those 'sticky boobs' to actually stick, and if they do they usually are only a one-time use. But this brand actually stays put, and I have gotten many uses out of them! The sticky part on the inside doesn't irritate my skin, nor does it ball up and peel off. It gets the job done, and is one I would highly recommend if you have an outfit you're needing them for." — Krista Torres Get a pair from Amazon or Ulta Beauty for $14.99 (available in four shades). 10. A rechargeable heated eye massager if you need an extra tool in your toolkit to help combat headaches, eye strain, puffy under-eyes, and insomnia. This portable design boasts five massage modes, a 15-minute timer, and built-in Bluetooth speakers so you can really tune out the world and enjoy some R&R. "After reading about how much reviewers loved this product (and including it in my articles for years), I was so excited to finally try it out myself. I wasn't disappointed! It's a little louder than I thought it would be (as the air compresses in and out to relieve tension), but once I put music on with it, I didn't notice the noise anymore. I've been using it to relax my eyes after a long day of working on screens *and* parenting. I also break it out when I have sinus pain, and it's been really helpful in easing that pain. Consider me a fan!" — Heather Braga Get it from Amazon for $59.99+ (available in nine colors/styles). 11. A colorful Great Jones x Fellow electric gooseneck kettle because it's a gorgeous addition to any kitchen counter-scape with built-in temperature control and a precision-pour spout designed specially for the at-home pourover coffee aficionados. "I live in a multigenerational household, and several of the adults are really specific about how to create their morning cup of coffee, especially my husband and my mom. We got this kettle, and it has made making a cup of coffee (which, if I'm being honest, happens several times a day) such a better experience. The gooseneck means we have precise control over water flow and pouring speed, which ensures even extraction and a balanced, flavorful cup of coffee. And because it's so aesthetically pleasing, I don't mind having it out on the countertop all the time (which, unfortunately, I can't say for a few of the other small appliances I use daily). It also heats up water super fast!" — Sally Elshorafa Get it from Great Jones for $180 (there's also a blue version available). 12. A precious Taylor Swift-inspired board book to delight any Swiftie mama with a heartwarming story (complete with vibrant illustrations) about the pure delight of parents sharing their favorite artists with their kiddos. 🥹🥹🥹 Heather Braga / BuzzFeed "I threw myself a Taylor Swift-inspired baby shower before my daughter was born, so it should be no surprise that I own this book. I have it on display in her room — I mean, look how cute it is! We also read it together when she wakes up (too) early, and I need to entertain her so she doesn't wake up her sleeping brother. She loves the bright colors, and I love the sweet story. It's a win-win!" — Heather Braga Get it from Amazon for $9.99. 13. A pack of Salon Perfect press-on nails that one BuzzFeed creator is getting to last over TWO WEEKS. A gorgeous at-home mani for less than the price of a latte?! Don't mind if I do. "I used to get acrylic nails, then I switched to Gel X, then I decided I didn't need to spend that much on my nails, and I've entered the world of stick-ons. I've been experimenting with different brands, and this Salon Perfect brand not only has nice colors and nail shapes, but they STICK WELL. I have been getting them to last over two weeks. Application is easy, with the glue that is included, and there are enough sizes to fit any hand. They also come with enough extras if one does pop off. They are my new go-to!" — Krista Torres Get a 30-pack from Walmart for $6.94 (available in other styles at Walmart and Amazon, too). 14. A cult-favorite Anthropologie Icon juice glass for romanticizing the heck out of your morning iced coffee or 5 o'clock cocktail with artisanal glasses that each come encrusted with wittle hand-applied beads in one of 23 different photo-ready styles. One genius on TikTok discovered Yeti cup lids fit perfectly on top of these so you can take them on the go! You can get a pack of two on Amazon for $8.99. "I am such a sucker for these glasses. My husband is getting increasingly annoyed at how little space there is in our kitchen cabinet because I cannot stop acquiring these cups. They have a nice weight to them, wash really well (I typically just run hot water through them for a bit then dry them with a towel since they are not dishwasher safe), and make my morning coffee feel a bit fancier. One of my girlfriends has been equally sucked in and we send each other pics back and forth when we're using the glasses. Love, love, love them." — Heather Braga Get it from Anthropologie for $16 (available in 23 styles and four "confetti" styles). 15. A bag of Grillo pickle-flavored chickpea puffs so you can satisfy your craving for something ~dill-icious~ without being the guy who rolls up to the party with a six-pack and a jar of pickles. "I am a certified pickle girlie, and Grillos is absolutely my go-to grocery store pickle brand. I can confirm they are absolutely fire, and if proof is what you're looking for, please know my between-meetings lunch today was like half a jar of their classic dill pickle spears, which I ate over the sink like a gremlin. They've got the perfect snap, just the right sourness, and don't get floppy or soggy like other brands I've tried in the past. I cannot recommend them enough. I'm also a big snacker, and I've been making it my goal this year to be a little more intentional with what I'm snacking on. Hippeas chickpea puffs have become a snacktime staple for me — they scratch that itch in my brain that a bag of chips does, but don't make me (or my tummy) feel quite as icky. They're filling, they're deliciously crunchy, and I love that they're vegan and gluten-free, so I don't have to think twice about putting them out when I've got friends with different dietary restrictions over. So, naturally, when Hippeas and Grillos reached out to me about their collab, to say I was stoked was an understatement. It was like they made these just for me, honestly. Dill pickle-flavored foods can be pretty hit or miss (sometimes they just taste like sour ranch?? That's not a pickle!), but they absolutely nailed that classic Grillo's flavor here. They're crunchy, bursting with flavor, and surprisingly filling. The pickle flavor is front and center, with the perfect balance of sourness, saltiness, and dill. I enjoyed snacking on them alone, but I'm already planning out how I can incorporate them in the perfect cheese board this spring. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! 10/10, pickle girlies do not miss out on these." Get a six-pack from Hipeas for $24.99 or order locally on Instacart. 16. A too-cute belted denim romper because it's a no-thoughts-required outfit that will earn you compliments all summer long, whether you pair it with your favorite sneakers for a picnic or a saucy pair of heels for a night out. "I have worn this outfit twice now, and every time I get compliments on it. I love how it is unique, but also comfortable, and the shorts are a great length for me, as I always feel like they are either too short or too long. I am looking forward to wearing it more this summer, and it is something easy to throw on without having to worry about matching a top and bottoms (that is why it is a little bit pricier but I think it is worth the money, and I will definitely get good use out of it). It also looks great with a hat, which is what I wore with it recently at a winery I went to." — Krista Torres Get it from Lee for $128 (available in women's sizes XS–XL). 17. A squeal-inducing BT21 X FriendsWithYou plushie bag if you're a BTS stan looking to add some cutie-patootie energy to your home, or just want a huggable piece of K-pop lore since flying overseas for a meet-and-greet is not exactly in the budget rn. "This cushion bag is so soft and absolutely adorable! It reminds me of a chip bag— but instead of snacks, it's filled with tiny, huggable BT21 character plushies (plus an extra cloud plush that totally stole my heart). I love that each character can be taken out and enjoyed separately, so it's both decor as a pillow and a fun way to display little plushie friends around my space like figurines. While the clear window makes it more of a decorative pillow, it's surprisingly comfy if you flip it on its back. My friends have also squealed about how cute this is!" — Brittney Trinh Get it from Line Friends for $49.95.
