The duo was papped exiting a popular eatery in Mumbai this afternoon and looked stylish as ever. In a video posted on Instagram, both the actor and his wife were seen posing for the paps while wrapping their hands around one another's waist. In the video, Ayushmann Khurrana was spotted walking out of the popular restaurant in Bandra at first. Following him was his wife, Tahira Kashyap, who soon joined him in posing for the lens. At the end, the duo even expressed their gratitude towards the paps stationed over there by thanking them and then boarded their luxurious car. Their love story evolved from teenage crushes, went to college, long-distance and even struggles in their respective careers, ultimately to a grand wedding ceremony in 2008. The couple is blessed with two children: a son named Virajveer and a daughter named Varushka. Additionally, they have always remained the biggest supporters of one another. Throughout Tahira's breast cancer diagnosis and relapse, the couple stuck together as a team and served pure couple goals to their fans. The actor, known for his impeccable acting skills, was last seen as Pooja/Karamveer 'Karam" Singh in the 2023 movie Dream Girl 2, co-starring Ananya Pandey. Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana 's wife and popular author-filmmaker Tahira Kashyap's cancer has relapsed. She took to social media back in April and revealed the same with a post. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2018. Now, amid her treatment, Tahira dropped some 'sexy' pics from the weekend. But the highlight is the 9th video, where Ayushmann is seen spending time with their kids in a swing chair. Talking to Instagram today (May 19), Tahira Kashyap dropped a beautiful post with a carousel of some stunning pictures. She looks gorgeous in the first pic wearing a blue and white swim skirtini, posing near a pool while looking away from the camera. Her face is hidden from her hair. The second pic shows her spending some time with her daughter and their dog and posing in front of a mango tree. The following pic also shows her near a pool, while the 4th slide has a heartwarming video of their dog playing in the park. Tahira also dropped photos and videos of plucking fruits from trees. However, the real highlight is the 9th slide where her husband-actor Ayushmann Khurrana is seen sitting in a swing chair with their two kids. The last pic shows her posing in a beautiful white outfit in front of the sun. Sharing the pic, the popular author reflected on the true meaning of success and wrote, 'What is success? Tahira Kashyap opens up about breast cancer relapse
Filmmaker Tahira Kashyap, known for her directorial debut Sharmajee Ki Beti, has revealed that her breast cancer is back after seven years. Taking to Instagram, Kashyap shared a note reflecting her determination to beat it again. In her post, she wrote, "Seven-year itch or the power of regular screening--it's a perspective I'd like to go with the latter and suggest the same for everyone who needs to get regular mammograms. Round 2 for me... I still got this." She added: "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When life becomes too generous and throws them again at you, you squeeze them calmly into your favourite kala khatta drink and sip it with all the good intentions. Because, for one, it's a better drink, and two, you know you will give it your best once again." Tahira concluded her note writing, "#regularscreening #mammogram not shying away from saying it #breastcancer #onemoretime #letsgo. Ironically or not, today is #WorldHealthDay. Let's do whatever we can in our capacity to take care of ourselves. #gratitude through and through." Kashyap was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018. Last month, she shared an inspiring photo of herself with a clean-shaven head, a result of chemotherapy, along with moments from her treatment journey. Speaking to ANI on World Cancer Day, she spoke about the challenges of fighting the disease and also praised government initiatives like Ayushman Bharat and PMJAY that are making cancer treatment accessible to millions. "On World Cancer Day, I want to commend the Ayushman Bharat and PMJAY initiatives for making timely cancer treatment accessible to many, regardless of their financial background. Cancer is a journey that tests your strength, resilience, and faith. Early diagnosis and affordable treatment are, however, key to survival, and thanks to such government schemes, millions can now hope for a better future. Let's continue to support one another and raise awareness about early breast cancer detection because together we can beat cancer," she said. Kashyap is married to actor Ayushmann Khurrana, and they have two children together.
