Don't miss out on the headlines from Celebrity Life. Followed categories will be added to My News. Hollywood actor Brian Austin Green has opened up about the deaths of 90210 co-stars Shannen Doherty and Luke Perry, saying the tragedies forced him 'not to take things for granted'. In 2019, Luke Perry, passed away from a catastrophic stroke at 52 years old. And in July last year Shannen Doherty, 53, died from breast cancer after a long battle with the illness. 'Luke's passing was so incredibly sudden. He was young. He was my age now,' Green told Stellar. 'And then Shannen passing, too, hit home the concept of: we're not those kids anymore. 'We're in a new period of life where we have to really value the relationships with people that we have, and not take things for granted, because it's unbelievable how fast you can lose something or someone that seemed so invaluable.' Hollywood couple Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green in their Stellar cover shoot, out today. Picture: Steven Chee for Stellar Green and Australian fiancee Sharna Burgess live most of the year in Los Angeles, California, with their three-year-old son Zane, but spend considerable time in Australia due to Burgess' role as a judge on Seven reality series Dancing With The Stars. Picture: Steven Chee for Stellar The late Shannen Doherty. Picture: Getty Images 'Believe me, we kick around the idea of having a second home there – possibly it even ending up being a first home at some point – you never know. When you have kids in school, it's a hard thing to do [to uproot them]. 'So we are looking at all options to see what makes sense. But having a blended family does not make things easy.' Aside from young Zane, the blended family includes Green and former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Vanessa Marcil's son Kassius, 23, as well as Green's other children Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11 and Journey, eight, with Megan Fox. Burgess, who is originally from Wagga Wagga in regional New South Wales, tells Stellar that their three-year-old son is the glue of the family. 'Having Zane has absolutely bonded everyone together,' Burgess said. 'I was always incredibly close with the kids as our relationship grew, but when Zane came along, it was like that piece locked in where they were, like, 'Oh, this is forever.'' Dancing With The Stars premieres at 7pm on June 15 on the Seven Network and 7Plus. Sharna Burgess shares insight into her relationship with her Beverly Hills 90210 star fiancé Brian Austin Green and reveals how their son Zane 'bonded everyone together'
Sharna Burgess has shared new details about her relationship with her Beverly Hills 90210 star fiancé Brian Austin Green. The Australian ballroom dancer told this week's Stellar magazine, the pair met after a mutual business manager arranged a blind date between them in 2020. Sharna admitted she didn't recognise Brian's name as she hadn't watched 90210. The following year, Sharna and Brian starred on the US version of Dancing With The Stars as a couple. 'We totally put our relationship first the whole way through, because it was always more important to us,' she explained. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Sharna and Brian have been together since 2020 and delight in their blended family. The American actor is a father of five. He shares Kassius, 23, with ex-wife Vanessa Marcil, 56, and Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, eight with Megan Fox. Brian also welcomed his son Zane with Sharna in June 2022 and the actress said their baby boy 'bonded everyone together'. 'I was always incredibly close with the kids as our relationship grew, but when Zane came along, it was like that piece locked in where they were, like, 'Oh, this is forever',' she revealed. Elsewhere in the chat, the Los Angeles-based couple teased that they have discussed having a second home in Australia. In the meantime they are enjoying extended visits - including with their children - Down Under while Sarah films Dancing With the Stars Australia. 'It's been really, really cool, especially after being away for such a long time,' Sharna said. 'We've loved the beach time. Bri and two of the kids climbed the Harbour Bridge – they loved it. The photo we have in our kitchen is massive smiles and windswept hair. It's the cutest thing.' Brian proposed to Sharna on his 50th birthday in 2023. In 2021, the pair appeared on The Morning Show to celebrate their one-year anniversary together - and the interview took a cringeworthy turn when Brian admitted he still doesn't understand Australians' fascination with Vegemite. Vegemite is a thick, dark brown spread made from leftover brewers' yeast extract. It's considered a household staple in Australia, but is reviled in other parts of the world. 'Aussies are awesome, you know this,' joked Sharna after Brian praised her for being a great stepmother to his four children. He then replied: 'Vegemite makes me question that a little bit, but whatever.' Elsewhere in the interview, Brian said his partner had done a good job handling the 'responsibility' that comes with dating a man with children. Sharna, who hails from Wagga Wagga and now lives in the U.S., went Instagram official with Brian in February 2021.

Megan Fox's ex Brian Austin Green can't stop lavishing affection on fiancee Sharna Burgess at charity event
Megan Fox 's ex Brian Austin Green could not stop kissing his wife Sharna Burgess on Friday. And she seems to love the guy right back as she talked up her future husband. The Dancing With the Stars pro, 39, gushed about her partner while attending Nancy Davis' 32nd Annual Race To Erase MS Gala on Friday with her husband-to-be, 51. Sharna cited parenting skills as one of the traits that made her fall for him. 'One of the things that I fell in love with about Brian very early on was the way he is as a father to his children,' she told Us Weekly at the event. 'He is the kind of father that I honestly wish that I grew up with. 'He is the kind of man that I watch every day with our children, and the way that he parents, and the way that he is not just parenting but living as an example of what a good man should be — in his conversations, in the way he loves me, in the way that he loves our children,' the Aussie dancer gushed. Sharna leapt to the defense of her future husband after his first wife Vanessa lobbed some shade at him in a text message. Brian and Sharna share two-year-old son Zane. He also shares sons Noah, 11, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 7, with ex-wife Megan Fox, and has a 23-year-old son Kassius with ex-wife Marcil. In 2018, Vanessa claimed Brian hadn't seen Kassius in five years. In 2023, Brian accused Vanessa of lying when she said that she raised Kassius alone. Earlier this month, Vanessa uploaded a text message exchange which appeared to be between herself and Brian. The conversation appeared to hint that the actor had forgotten about his son's graduation. Vanessa sent Brian a photo of their son sitting inside a car, to which Brian allegedly responded, 'When was that?' Vanessa replied, 'Yesterday was his graduation.' Brian then wrote back, 'You did a really great job. He's an amazing person,' to which Vanessa wrote, 'Thank you.' The day before he had reflected on his marriage to Marcil on his podcast Oldish, which he does with Sharna and Randy Spelling. 'The relationship that I had with Vanessin that way,' he admitted. 'Like, it wasn't a loving, caring relationship.' Vanessa and Brian first met in 1998 when she joined the cast of Beverly Hills 90210 for the show's ninth season. The pair dated for several years and welcomed Kassius in March 2002. 'The relationship that I had with Vanessa in that way,' he admitted. 'Like, it wasn't a loving, caring relationship.' Vanessa said she felt sorry for him and was not in love with him, which was quite a blow. Megan Fox also took a swipe at Brian's parenting skills after they split in 2020 after 10 years together. 'I know you love your kids. But I don't know why you can't stop using them to posture,' Fox wrote via Instagram in November 2020. 'You're so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I'm an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year.' Meanwhile Brian and Sharna are planning their wedding for 2026, but in the meantime, the love birds are trying to expand their family. The couple are hoping to add a little girl to their family. 'I will most likely do IVF anyway,' Burgess also told Us Weekly, with Green saying he was ready to have a daughter.

Brian Austin Green's ex Vanessa Marcil shares cryptic Machine Gun Kelly meme after 'toxic' jab
Brian Austin Green's recent feud with his former partner Vanessa Marcil took a turn on Thursday when she posted a meme featuring his ex-wife Megan Fox's most recent partner. Vanessa, 56, reposted a photoshopped fan-made image of Machine Gun Kelly, 35, to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, according to Us Weekly. It's unclear if the photo was meant to be a message to her ex, but it came just days after Brian, 51, called their relationship 'toxic' on his Oldish podcast, which he hosts with his fiancée Sharna Burgess. Vanessa appeared to have deleted the posts with MGK, as it was no longer in her stories despite reportedly being up for less than 24 hours. The post featured a picture of the rapper-turned-rocker wearing a white-and-red baseball cap reading 'Holy' on the front and a white graphic T-shirt. The photo was taken on June 9, 2024, and original depicted the musician at the NAHMIAS Menswear fashions how in LA. His original shirt read 'No gym allowed in drugs,' but the latest post had replaced the comic text with a new caption: 'Never bite the hand that'll slap the s*** out of you.' It's unclear if the photo was meant to be a message to her ex, but it came just days after Brian, 51, called their relationship 'toxic' on his Oldish podcast, which he hosts with his fiancée Sharna Burgess; seen in December in Las Vegas She also posted a photo of Machine Gun Kelly with the rapper and country music star Jelly Roll's wife, Bunnie Xo, which had also disappeared as of Thursday evening. Vanessa and Brian first began dating in 1999 after meeting on set of Beverly Hills, 90210 and became engaged in 2001. Their son Kassius, 23, was born the following year but the former couple split soon after. The Las Vegas actress jumped to Instagram on Tuesday as she uploaded a brief exchange which appeared to hint that Green had forgotten about his son's graduation. She had sent him a photo and he typed, 'When was that?' to which she replied, 'Yesterday was his graduation.' The father-of-five then complimented her by adding, 'You did a really great job. He's an amazing person :).' Marcil simply responded with, 'Thank you.' Earlier this week on Monday, Brian reflected on his relationships with both Megan Fox and Vanessa on a recent podcast episode. Green and Marcil have been embroiled in co-parenting drama since their split and back in 2023, he made claims that the actress did not let him see their son Kassius at one point. She also has alleged in 2018 that both Brian and then-wife Megan Fox had 'cut Kass out of their lives.' However, Vanessa later revealed that the Transformers actress apologized for her role in their family drama. Vanessa previously shared a past text message exchange between the pair on Tuesday as she seemingly made a subtle dig at the actor; seen in 2017 in L.A. The actor recalled how his mother had 'smothered him' while growing up, and how that affected his own relationships in the future. 'If I'm looking for a woman, I want the complete opposite of that. I had some major missteps because of that,' he told both Randy and Sharna. 'I mean, the relationship that I had with Vanessa was very toxic in that way. Like, it wasn't a loving, caring relationship.' He added of his mother, 'To a fault sometimes, just everything was about me. And then with Vanessa, it was not that at all, but it was masked in this is a relationship where that absolutely exists. 'So you start thinking like, "'Oh, it's just kind of a new version. Like, oh, she loves me, but this is her way of loving me."' Green explained that he initially believed Vanessa had being 'trying to help me' but just a couple years later, he didn't recognize himself. 'You're like, "Who am I at this point? There's not once piece of me that's left. My relationship with everyone around me has changed."' Last year, Vanessa came to Megan's defense and shared that the beauty previously apologized for her involvement in their family drama. In response to a fan on Instagram, Marcil penned at the time: 'She has apologized to both me and our child. She stated she is "disgusted" by her behavior. However, it wasn't her job to keep a grown man/biological parent in his son's life. That's on him.' She added, 'It's true as you said that it's painful to watch #sharnaburgess try to gaslight her followers, however I do feel for her too. 'Only difference is that she's not a child like Megan was. She's being conned and would have to give up her whole 'fairy tale' in order to stand up for the truth at this point.' The star then added of Burgess, 'But trust me, in her gut, she knows that she's being lied to. I feel for her and her beautiful son. We [don't] really matter anymore. The kids do. One day we will all be gone and these siblings will all be together. 'My son is the oldest and he knows the real truth. He will protect them. Their safety and peace are all he cares about. The truth will always prevail in the end.' Marcil expressed, 'It's good to be on the right side of history and to know I gave up everything to protect my son and stand up to the truth.' One year earlier in 2023, Green claimed that Vanessa had kept their son Kassius out of his life amid his health struggles with vertigo. 'Those years that he wasn't able to go see Kassius, Vanessa made no effort to make sure Brian got time with him,' Sharna alleged during a previous episode. Last year, Vanessa came to Fox's defense and shared that the beauty previously apologized for her involvement in their family drama One year earlier in 2023, Green claimed that Vanessa had kept their son Kassius out of his life amid his health struggles with vertigo 'Instead, she painted him as an absent father who chose not to be around for him. And I'm sure that information was fed to Kass, and I can't imagine how damaging that was for him.' Brian also claimed, 'To find out after the fact that at the point when I started getting better, that she then was painting it that I had abandoned Kass during that time, when the reality was I was dealing with such brain fog in what I was going through.' He added, 'It would've meant so much if Vanessa had decided, "Hey, I'm going to make sure while you're going through this that your son can still get to your house and see you." 'That would've just made an incredible difference in the situation. But that's not what went down. That's not how it happened.' Marcil has previously alleged that she raised Kassius all on her own. She also claimed that he had taken her to court for years and requested for child support — which Brian denied. In the same Oldish episode in which Brian described his 'toxic' relationship with Vanessa, he also addressing allegations that he had 'groomed' his ex-wife Megan Fox. The Beverly Hills, 90210 star has been dogged by rumors for years that he took advantage of the 38-year-old actress because of her youth and their significant age gap, as she was only 18 when they began dating, while he was 30. But on Monday, he opened up about the subject he has long held his tongue on during a chat with his fiancée Sharna Burgess on their podcast Oldish. The Beverly Hills, 90210 star has been dogged by rumors for years that he took advantage of the 38-year-old actress because of her youth and their significant age gap, as she was only 18 when they began dating, while he was 30; pictured in 2010 at Disney World's Magic Kingdom Sharna, 39, cued up Brian after he described his difficult relationship with his ex Vanessa, which prompted her to dig up text messages between herself and her ex in which she appeared to hint that he had forgotten their 23-year-old son Kassius' graduation. Although Sharna knew that her fiancé denied having groomed his ex-wife, she asked him why he never tried to set the record straight. According to actor, the influence of a family member led him to think defending himself would be a losing battle. 'I think it comes from my dad. He's very good at cutting emotion out of something and just being logical in his choices,' Brian explained. 'I really, logically understood that if I defend myself this one time, it's never gonna stop,' he said. 'I'm gonna have to defend myself for who knows how long, because people are gonna believe what they wanna believe. So, to me, time is the only thing that regulates that. He explained that he hoped living a life relatively free of controversy would overwhelm the suspicions of people who didn't know him. 'People spend more time seeing me not being that way and then they start questioning it and they start going, you know, "We've seen him for five years. We've never once seen him being controlling or hearing any other story from anyone else about,"' he shared. 'It's the long game of it.' Brian and his ex Megan began their relationship back in 2004, after they had worked together on the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith. He and Megan began dating in 2004 after working together. They got engaged in 2006 and wed in 2010, later welcoming three sons together, though they split multiple times along the way; pictured in 2019 in LA Month after announcing their split in 2020, Brian began dating the professional dancer Sharna Burgess. They welcomed a son together in 2022 and got engaged in September 2023; pictured in November in NYC Megan joined the series in its second season to take over the role of one of the title characters' daughters, and Brian made a guest appearance on the show. In a 2009 Elle profile, the Transformers actress suggested that she took the upper hand in initiating the relationship, as Brian was initially hesitant about dating. 'I had to convince him that I was slightly more responsible and well-spoken and had other things to bring to the table besides being 18,' she said. The two had a tumultuous relationship, and though they got engaged two years later, they later split in February 2009. But Brian and Megan announced in June 2010 that they had reunited and the engagement was back on, and they surprised their fans by tying the knot later that month in Hawaii. The couple later welcomed three sons: Noah, 12; Bodhi, 11; and Journey, eight. After welcoming their second son in 2014, Megan and Brian announced they had separated in August 2015, and Megan filed for divorce days later. However, the on–off couple reunited early the next year, and Megan later filed to dismiss her divorce suit in 2019. Just over a year later, in May 2020, Brian revealed that he and Megan had again separated, seemingly for good. Megan filed for divorce in November of that year, and it was finalized in October 2021. Brian later moved on with Sharna in October 2020, and they welcomed a son together in June 2022, before getting engaged in September of the following year. A month after her split from Brian was announced, Megan went public with her relationship with the rapper-turned-rocker Machine Gun Kelly. The two got engaged in 2022 but called it off two years later. In March of this year, Megan gave birth to their first child together, a daughter, though they have not publicly revealed her name so far.

Money Problems Are a Leading Cause of Divorce. Here's How To Avoid Them
Plus, here's how celebrity couple Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green are planning their financial life together Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own. Money can ruin your relationship — so when you say "I do" at the altar, you need to also say "I DO" with your finances. I DO is a framework I developed for navigating your finances as a married couple. It goes like this: Initiate the Conversation Divvy Up "Yours, Mine and Ours" Accounts Opt For a Prenup To show you how it works, I'll give you a real-life example — with the celebrity couple Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green. Step 1: Initiate the Conversation Initiating a money conversation seems like it would be a no-brainer — but a lot of couples put it off. This is what happened with Sharna and Brian. " We had a baby a lot quicker than we thought we were going to," Sharna told me on my podcast Money Rehab this week. "I think because it was like going through a tunnel at full speed in the beginning of our relationship, there were some conversations that just got missed.'" If you haven't had this conversation yet, have it now. Don't wait a moment longer. If you wait until the "right time" to have the money talk, it'll be too late. So, what should you talk about? Here's a place to start: Step 2: Divvy Up Accounts Here's the first question that couples face: Whose money is whose? This is a personal decision, and there's no system that works for every couple. Some couples combine finances. Some keep them separate. Personally, I like a system I call "Yours, Mine, and Ours". It's simple: You keep a bank account that's just for you, your spouse keeps an account just for them, and you both contribute to a shared account. This way, you retain some financial independence but also build a financial life together. This is what Sharna and Brian do. For Sharna, it helps keep the magic alive. "I don't want to be over his books, because that's not my job," she said. "I feel like that takes some of the romance away." But as you create a plan to merge finances, you should also create a plan to disentangle them. Which means… Step 3: Opt for a Prenup If you have any form of an "Ours" or joint account, a prenup is critical. This conversation can make people uncomfortable. I first spoke to Sharna a year ago, and asked her whether she and Brian have a prenup plan. She visibly froze, then told me it would be too awkward to discuss with Brian. But a year later, she's changed her tune. " I think protecting yourself is a beautiful thing," she told me more recently. "Knowing that everything is fair and you've made the big decisions, I think it's incredibly smart." I completely agree — but I understand her fear from a year ago. Prenups feel unromantic and stressful, mostly because people think of prenups as divorce planning. But really, it's just insurance. You don't get car insurance because you're planning on getting into a car accident. You get insurance in case of an emergency, and you hope you'll never have to use it, but it makes you feel a little more comfortable in your car. That's how a prenup should feel — it's an emergency measure that makes you feel more secure in your relationship, not less. The intersection of love and money can be messy, but if you follow the I DO framework, you'll be doing right by your partner, yourself and your wallet.
