You can't pay attention to the road as much."Speaking favourably about Kia, he remarked: "It doesn't try to be too fancy. Your turn signal is like… a turn signal".Although Cuban is content driving a less expensive Kia EV6, his 15-year-old son disapproves. "After that, I never saw my Iversons again" - Bow Wow recalls his unfortunate first meeting with MJ

American rapper Shad Gregory "Bow Wow" Moss is known for his role in the 2002 film "Like Mike." In that movie, Moss plays Calvin Cambridge, a 13-year-old orphan who became an NBA superstar after acquiring Michael Jordan's skills from wearing an old pair of sneakers that once belonged to Mike. In real life, however, it was different. Although he grew up close to MJ's son Marcus, Bow Wow resonated with Philadelphia 76ers superstar Allen Iverson mainly because of A.I.'s diminutive stature and hip-hop persona. That got Shad in trouble during his first meeting with Mr. Jordan. "I wore Reeboks at the house. I wore some Iversons. That was my guy. After Marcus' dad retired, A.I. was my man. The tatt, the braid, I just saw me. So I'm in the house of the Iversons," said Moss during his recent appearance on "Club Shay Shay." Bow Wow started his entertainment career at the age of six when he was discovered by Snoop Dogg. As "Li'l Bow Wow," he released his first album at the age of 13 in 2000. A year later, Moss became the featured performer of the "Scream Tour," which ran every summer from 2001-2012. Every time the tour hit Chicago, Bow would hit up with Marcus and he would stay at the Jordan's 56,000-square foot mansion in Highland Park. Unfortunately, his buddy did not give him the memo on what footwear is allowed in MJ's presence. "And so me and Marcus, in his room, we wake up in the morning," recalled Bow Wow. "I can see that door crack open like a father, like a real dad. "Hey, whose bullsh** is this?" And Marcus was like, 'I don't know, you already know it, don't even look at me.' I'm on the floor sleeping, and I'm like, "Huh?" He like, 'This yours, Bow?' and I'm like, 'Yeah.' Sh** is going in the trash...'Michael, man, get this little man some kicks.' Man, after that, I never saw my Iversons again. Threw my Iversons away, gone." Bow Wow was not the only one who lost his beloved pair of shoes inside the hallowed halls of the Jordan residence. Mike's footwear rule applied to everyone who stepped inside his abode, including his children. "His Airness" did not even make an exception for the Jordan princess - his only daughter Jasmine, who once told the story of her dad trashing her favorite Skechers shoes. "It didn't matter what pair they were. It didn't matter who bought them. If they were in his house and they were on my feet, by the next day, they were in the trash," said Jasmine. "I used to beg him, 'Please, let me get the light-up Skechers!' Or the shoes with the wheels. He would let me wear them for a day, then the next day they would end up in the trash." The Air Jordan shoe isn't just the most successful basketball shoe of all time. It's part of the Jordan mystique. And for MJ, no other shoe or brand deserves to take a single step inside his property. That policy is non-negotiable.

Could Shannon Sharpe go broke? What happens if he loses the sexual assault case? Breaking down the fallout of a $50M lawsuit

Kirby Lee/Image of Sport-USA TODAY Sports Shannon Sharpe is no stranger to headlines, but this time, the stakes are higher than ever. The former NFL tight end and media powerhouse is facing a $50 million lawsuit alleging sexual assault. While the legal process is still unfolding and no judgment has been made, the sheer size of the lawsuit has left fans and observers asking one big question: what happens if Sharpe loses? What the $50 million lawsuit could do to Shannon Sharpe's net worth According to various outlets, Sharpe's net worth is estimated at around $14 million. A $50 million payout would dwarf that amount, likely wiping out his current assets and forcing him into major financial restructuring. If found liable, Sharpe could face asset liquidation, garnishment of future earnings, or even bankruptcy proceedings. Unless a settlement is reached for a significantly smaller amount, the financial hit could be devastating. — burackbobby_ (@burackbobby_) by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like How can a 3-month-old get cancer? All of that could be undone by a single court decision. Reputation damage: What this could mean for his media career Sharpe is a major face at ESPN on First Take , co-hosts the Nightcap podcast with Chad Johnson, and runs the viral interview platform Club Shay Shay . All of these rely on public perception. If he loses the case, there's a very real chance that sponsors and media platforms will cut ties or quietly remove him from the spotlight. Even the mere association with a guilty verdict in a high-profile assault case can lead to lasting damage. In the media world, trust and relatability are everything, and a courtroom loss could be a career-ender. Sharpe also launched his own liquor brand, Le Portier, and has a growing presence in merchandising and content branding. These ventures are based on his personal brand, something that becomes incredibly fragile in the face of controversy. Public-facing brands often react quickly to legal findings, especially in cases involving sexual misconduct. If Sharpe loses, Le Portier and Club Shay Shay merchandise may be shelved by distributors or quietly pulled from online stores. Partnering companies won't want to risk backlash by staying affiliated. The long-term fallout if the verdict isn't in his favor A courtroom loss doesn't just cost money, it reshapes legacies. Sharpe is a Pro Football Hall of Famer, a beloved sports personality, and a media mogul in the making. But legal guilt in a case like this could overshadow all of it. Future roles with the NFL, broadcasting networks, or as a public speaker may vanish. Even endorsements or partnerships unrelated to the case could disappear. In today's cultural climate, reputational redemption can take years and it isn't guaranteed. Also read - Who is Gabriella Zuniga? The OnlyFans star who sued Shannon Sharpe

Stephen A. Smith suggests ESPN could fire Shannon Sharpe soon: Will scandal kill rumored $100 million media deal too?

ESPN media superstar Stephen A. Smith has weighed in on the ongoing scandal involving co-worker Shannon Sharpe, and he suggests the media giant is seriously considering moving on from the popular analyst and podcaster. Following his surprising ouster from the popular FS1 talk show 'Undisputed' in 2023, NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe has had a huge career resurgence. And has built a sizable podcast empire on his Club Shay Shay YouTube channel. However, his rise to prominence is in serious jeopardy after a former love interest filed a lawsuit in Las Vegas this week that included some serious sexual assault allegations. Well, his colleague Stephen A. Smith added fuel to the rumors on Tuesday. 'We are taking this matter very seriously,' Smith said that ESPN President Jimmy Pitaro told him. 'We are looking into this very, very closely. And once we gather as many facts as we possibly can, we will go from there.' If he is fired or suspended by ESPN, the next big question is could the lawsuit destroy a rumored $100 million media deal he was closing in on? Is Shannon Sharpe's $100 million media deal in trouble due to sexual assault lawsuit? The allegations come at as bad a time as possible for Shannon Sharpe. His success with shows like 'Club Shay Shay' and 'Night Cap' — which he co-hosts with fellow former NFL great Chad Johnson — has reportedly set him up to land a massive $100 million media deal for distribution rights. Advertisement Sharpe is innocent until proven guilty. However, ESPN does not want to endure the firestorm of a serious sexual assault scandal involving one of its most prominent talents. At the very least, he will be suspended indefinitely until the litigation plays out. The company that may be finalizing a nine-figure deal with him is likely to have similar concerns. Giving a massive contract to a person with such serious accusations against them is a public relations nightmare that would undercut any contract announcement. It means a deal is now unlikely to happen. If Sharpe is cleared of the allegations, the pact could then be finalized. But until that time, it is very doubtful he will sign that massive contract. Sharpe's accuser claims he once threatened to kill her after showing up late to his home, as well as recorded their sexual encounters without consent, and then shared the recordings with others. She has also alledged he raped and sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions. Her attorney leaked a phone call between the two where Sharpe threatened to choke her.
