MTCIT announces winners of Green Mobility Awards at Oman Sustainability Week 2025
Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology has announced the winners of the second edition of the Green Mobility Award, held as part of Oman Sustainability Week.
The award ceremony took place at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre under the patronage of His Excellency Engineer Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, with the attendance of several ministers, government officials, CEOs, and sustainability experts.
Honouring the Winning Companies:
This year's award recognized several companies for their outstanding projects and initiatives in sustainable mobility. The Platinum Award was presented to Shell Development Oman and EVO. The Gold Award was granted to ABB, Shell Oman Marketing, and Mwasalat, while the Silver Award went to EnvirOM Solutions, OQRPI, Audi Oman, and Petroleum Development Oman. The Bronze Award was awarded to 44.01.
About the Award:
The Green Mobility Award aims to recognize companies contributing to Oman's national goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 and supporting efforts to build a low-carbon economy. The award highlights innovators in the mobility sector who are driving the transition to sustainable solutions. Participating companies were evaluated based on their projects, services, and sustainable initiatives in Oman, following a framework developed by the ministry.
