WI vs PAK T20I Series 2025: All You Need to Know - Schedule, Lineups, Live Telecast
West Indies and Pakistan are gearing up for a three-match T20I series, which begins on July 31. Both sides head into this contest after enduring disappointing runs in their recent T20I campaigns. Pakistan's 2025 tour of the West Indies includes three T20Is and three ODIs, with matches taking place across the USA and Trinidad. Both teams are in search of redemption after tough outings in their last series. Pakistan comes into this clash following a 2-1 T20I defeat against Bangladesh and a challenging away tour that included a 4-1 loss to New Zealand. In an attempt to strengthen their lineup, they have made changes to the squad and brought back some experienced fast bowlers. West Indies are reeling from a crushing 5-0 whitewash at the hands of Australia at home. While their batting unit has shown promise, especially with power-hitters like Shimron Hetmyer, the team has struggled with consistency in pressure moments. This series offers both teams a vital chance to bounce back and build confidence ahead of upcoming global events. Australia seal 5-0 win in West Indies T20 series
Agencies Basseterre Australia completed a comprehensive 5-0 clean sweep against West Indies in their T20 series by winning the final match of their tour by three wickets. The hosts were put into bat at Warner Park in St Kitts and Nevis and managed 170, with Shimron Hetmyer hitting 52 from 31 balls as Australian bowler Ben Dwarshuis took 3-41. The Windies were given hope of a win when they reduced Australia to 25-3 but Cameron Green, Tim David and Mitch Owen got their side back on track. Green scored 32 runs from 18 balls, David smashed four sixes in a 12-ball 30 and Owen raced to 37 - including three fours and three sixes - in 17 balls. Aaron Hardie added 28 from 25 balls as Australia reached their target with three overs to spare. 'I didn't expect 5-0 at the start of the series,' said Australia captain Mitchell Marsh. 'But we played some great cricket. It was something we spoke about after the fourth game. 'We knew no Australian team had completed a clean sweep. We've had guys come in and played different roles for us.' The T20 series defeat compounds a difficult time for West Indies, coming off the back of their 3-0 loss in the Test series against Australia. Australia bowled out the Windies for just 27 - the second lowest score in Test history, and the worst since 1955 - in the third Test and that led to Cricket West Indies president Dr Kishore Shallow calling for an emergency meeting to review the series and final match in particular. Scores: Australia 173 for 7 (Owen 37, Hosein 3-17) beat West Indies 170 (Hetmyer 52, Dwarshuis 3-41) by 3 wickets.

Australia vs West Indies 5th T20I: Aussies complete 5-0 thrashing of Indies after chasing 171 target in 17 overs
Australia wrapped up a dominant 5-0 victory in their T20 series against the West Indies, securing a three-wicket win in the final match at Warner Park. The clean sweep follows Australia's commanding performance in both the T20 and Test formats during the tour. After being put into bat, the West Indies posted 170 runs in 19.4 overs. Shimron Hetmyer top-scored with 52 from 31 balls, while Australia's Ben Dwarshuis shone with the ball, claiming 3-41. Despite the strong total, the hosts faced a setback when Australia reduced them to 25-3 early on. Cameron Green (32 off 18 balls), Tim David (30 off 12 balls, including four sixes), and Mitch Owen (37 off 17 balls, with three fours and three sixes) turned the game in Australia's favour. Aaron Hardie added 28 from 25 balls as the visitors reached their target with three overs to spare. Australia captain Mitchell Marsh admitted he hadn't expected a 5-0 result at the start of the series. "We knew no Australian team had completed a clean sweep," said Marsh. "It's a credit to the team's effort, with different players stepping up throughout." The West Indies' T20 loss follows a difficult Test series, where they were beaten 3-0 by Australia. In the third Test, Australia bowled out the West Indies for just 27 runs - the second lowest score in Test history - which prompted Cricket West Indies president Dr Kishore Shallow to call for an emergency meeting to review the series.

Australia's Caribbean cricket tour ends with a perfect 8-0 record in Tests, T20s
KITTS: Australia completed a flawless Caribbean tour with a three-wicket victory over West Indies in the final T20 international, securing an unprecedented 8-0 record across all formats. The win at Bridgetown on Monday night marked a 4-0 sweep in the T20 series, adding to their earlier 3-0 Test series triumph. After winning their eighth consecutive toss, Australia sent West Indies in to bat and restricted them to 170 in 19.4 overs. Shimron Hetmyer's 52 off 31 balls and Sherfane Rutherford's 35 off 17 provided the backbone of the innings, but disciplined bowling from Ben Dwarshuis (3-41) and Nathan Ellis (2-32) kept the hosts in check. Spinner Adam Zampa celebrated his 100th T20 international with economical figures of 1-20. Australia's chase began shakily as Jason Holder (2-25) and Alzarri Joseph (2-28) reduced them to 29-3 within three overs, including Glenn Maxwell's golden duck. A quickfire 30 from Tim David and a crucial 63-run partnership between Mitchell Owen (37 off 17) and Cameron Green (32 off 18) steadied the innings before Aaron Hardie's unbeaten 28 sealed victory with 18 balls remaining. West Indies spinner Akeal Hosein's late strikes (3-17) proved insufficient to prevent Australia's clean sweep. The comprehensive victory caps a dominant tour for Australia, showcasing their depth across formats ahead of their next international commitments, while West Indies will look to regroup before the T20 World Cup.
