‘Fortnite' Is Down: Here's When Servers Come Back Online For Season 4 And Power Rangers
It's official, Fortnite Chapter 6 season 3 is over, and Chapter 6 season 4 is on the verge of starting right after servers come back online. That's going to be a bit of a wait, but depending on when you read this, it's possible you may have woken up in the morning and can download and play. But you really should probably go to work or school. Or just call in sick. With server downtime starting in the middle of the night EDT time, and running about 2-6 hours on average, we can estimate when Fortnite season 4 will launch, and you can see those ranges below: Once you start heading over the Atlantic and get to the UK and beyond, we're no longer talking about an early morning play sessions, but rather the afternoon or evening. Fortnite has unloaded a whole bunch of information about its 'Shock and Awesome' season which will feature new Halo skins, free for everyone if you hit rank 100 (where you do not actually need to buy the battle pass). We have six colors of Power Rangers. We have Megazord. And we have a bunch of other crossovers that have been rumored or are totally secret so far. But it's a long season, so we'll see who Epic adds to its multiverse down the road here. Fortnite Chapter 6 season 4 will have us dealing with a bug invasion that was sparked by the events of the season 3 finale, and it's going to be a lot of fighting NPC insects on the map. Fortunately we have new wild weapons like the airstrike gun and a triple barrel gatling gun to help thin the ranks of the bug invaders. So, Helldivers skins? Starship Troopers skins? I guess the Flood are almost bugs so that connects to Halo. Power Rangers uh, have fought monster bugs…sometimes? Sure why not. See you in a few hours when servers are back online. The Exact Time ‘Fortnite' Chapter 6, Season 4 Starts And Season 3 Ends
Fortnite's relationship with Superman did not exactly end well, as now the map is flooded with bugs for its new Chapter 6, season 4 theme, Shock and Awesome. We know the season features the likes of new Halo Spartans, six different Power Rangers and their giant Megazord, along with fighting the new invasion of insects, which is a first for the game. We've had zombies and mercenaries but yeah, this is new. What time does Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 begin in your specific time zone? Fortnite's Shock and Awesome season releases tomorrow on Thursday, August 7. But if you want more specifics, the exact times for Chapter 6 season 4's release. Servers go down somewhere between 1:30 and 2 AM EDT when the battle pass expires. Then, we know that downtime usually lasts between 2-6 hours or so. That means: Fortnite has already been showing off various aspects of the season in new art and trailers. It appears that the new Spartans are the first battle pass slot, and it's possible that the Green Ranger is further up. We know that the core five Power Rangers are going to be sold in the store after. Megazord should not arrive on the map right away. This season in particular feels like a bit of a hodge-podge thrown together, everything from the name (Shock and Awesome?) to the collabs with Halo and Power Rangers. Some players are hoping that we get a Solo Leveling crossover given that invading bugs are really the plot point of the anime so far, as it makes perfect sense. It also occurs to me that something like a Helldivers crossover would be good, though we haven't heard a whiff of anything like that. ‘Fortnite' Chapter 6, Season 4 Trailer Reveals Power Rangers, Megazord
In Fortnite's eternal quest to continue smacking action figures together, we're starting to get official previews of the upcoming Chapter 6, Season 4, which we now know is called 'Shock and Awesome' and features a map-wide bug invasion. After a recent reveal that female Halo Spartans are coming to the game, a first since Master Chief showed up in 2020, new promos, including a new trailer, have started that feature another franchise, Power Rangers. Because why not? The new key art, seen above, shows off Tommy Oliver's Green Ranger, along with what appears to be a giant Megazord looming behind everything. That's supposed to be something that launches later in the season on September 16. In mid-August, there will be a 'Mighty Morphin'' bundle featuring the Red, Black, Pink, Yellow and Blue rangers. Curious how much that will be, or if those are being treated like alt styles for one skin. I think I probably know the answer to that. You have absolutely no idea how many Power Rangers movies and shows there have been over the years. I'm old enough to have watched the original, but this series never, ever went away. We are at thirty different Power Rangers projects since 1994 which include the likes of: Zeo, Turbo, Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, Wild Force, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, SPD, Mystic Force, Jungle Fury, RPM, Super Samurai, Megaforce, Super Megaforce, Dino Charge, Dino Super Charge, Ninja Steel, Super Ninja Steel, Beast Morphers, Dino Fury, and finally, 2023's Cosmic Fury. Are they done? Almost certainly not. Dino Fury and Cosmic Fury are both on Netflix, which has taken over the Power Rangers mantle, so no doubt things will continue from here. But for Fortnite, these are the unsurpassed OGs. Of course, Halo and Power Rangers are not the only things in this season. There are a number of original Fortnite skins and new additions to the game like a triple barrel gatling gun that looks ridiculous. Ridiculously fun, I suppose.
