No confirmed link between Travis Decker and Coeur d'Alene shooting
As the scene remained active in Coeur d'Alene, social media users began speculating whether Travis Decker, a former soldier wanted in connection with the deaths of his three daughters, was involved in the shooting.
'Where is Travis Decker?' several users posted, while others asked, 'Is this Travis Decker?' and 'Could this be Travis Decker??' Despite the speculation, authorities have not provided any evidence linking Decker to the incident.
Decker, 32, has been missing since June 2. His truck and the bodies of his daughters, Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia Decker, were found near Leavenworth, Washington. Law enforcement agencies have conducted an extensive search but have been unable to locate him.

'There is no certain evidence that Decker remains alive or in this area. Seemingly strong early leads gave way to less convincing proofs over the last two weeks of searching. Still, we can't and won't quit this search; Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia Decker deserve justice. And Decker remains a danger to the public as long as he's at large,' the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office stated in a social media post.
Local and federal law enforcement agencies have not indicated that Decker is a suspect in the Coeur d'Alene shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
Anyone with information regarding Decker's whereabouts is urged to contact local authorities. Officials continue to emphasize public safety and ask that residents remain alert and follow any emergency directives.
