He also stressed ensuring smooth traffic movement on the routes to Babadham and Basukinath Dham. In another significant directive, the CM also asked officials to implement a QR code-based complaint system, enabling devotees to register their grievances promptly if they encounter any issues. Deoghar admin begin prep for Shravani mela

1 2 Dumka: With the annual Shravani Mela scheduled to begin from July 11, the Deoghar district administration has begun preparations to ensure a hassle-free experience for devotees during their pilgrimage to Baba Baidyanath . Deoghar DC Vishal Sagar, along with his subordinates, took stock of the preparations on Saturday, by inspecting the entire Kanwariya (pilgrims) route from the Dumma-based interstate bordering point with Bihar to the Babadham temple and other important places. He also inspected the preparations at Baghmara bus stand and the proposed site for establishing a tent city at Kothiya for the devotees. "Apart from the availability of basic amenities for pilgrims, the tent city must have proper ventilation and a hygienic atmosphere," he directed the officials concerned, emphasising safe electric transmission arrangements and proper distance of lavatories. The DC also directed officials to ensure provisions for health camps for devotees at strategic locations. Considering the adverse climatic conditions, particularly the scorching heat, the DC also directed to install Indra Varsha (mist sprinkling) along the route and at holding points for devotees. He also directed the Deoghar municipal corporation to ensure regular treatment of the water of Shivganga (the holy pond) during the period. The DC also took stock of the queue complex and the Integrated Mela Control Room (IMCR) and issued directions for better coordination during the mela.
