Party with the stars at the Shreveport Observatory
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Shreveport Astronomical Society invites stargazers and space lovers for an evening observation session.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. to observe astronomical objects through telescopes available at the observatory.
Check our Moon, Jupiter and its moons, Mars, galaxies, star clusters, double stars, nebulae, and more. The only things that can cancel this out-of-this-world event are cloudy skies and rain.
The Shreveport Observatory is eight miles south of the LSU Shreveport campus. Travel south on LA Highway 1 and right on Highway 175 for about 1.7 miles, then turn left on Astronomical Way.
