New Delhi: The second phase of the consecration (Prana Pratishtha) ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya began on Tuesday. Deveshacharya Ji Maharaj of the Siddha Peeth Hanumangarhi expressed his joy over the event, stating, 'It is a matter of great joy for all Sanatanis and devotees of Lord Ram. The establishment of Ram Darbar, the royal form of Lord Ram, at the upper part of Lord Ram Lalla's birthplace is a very auspicious and joyous event.' The Ram Darbar Prana Pratishtha ceremony will span three days and conclude on June 5, coinciding with Ganga Dussehra, a highly auspicious occasion in the Hindu calendar. Mahamandaleshwar Vishnu Das Ji Maharaj, who participated in the rituals, said, 'From today, the Prana Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Darbar will begin, which will continue for three days. I visited the Ram Temple at 5 a.m. this morning. Lord Ram's idol was anointed with water from the Saryu River, and the worship is currently ongoing.' Earlier on Monday, a grand sacred procession was flagged off from the banks of the Saryu River as a precursor to the Prana Pratishtha. This ceremonial procession drew large crowds of devotees and sants. Security has been significantly heightened across Ayodhya. The temple complex has been declared a red zone. Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) commandos, armoured vehicles, and three-shift surveillance teams are in place to ensure peace and safety during the ceremonies. According to temple officials, this phase of rituals will include the consecration of the Ram Darbar on the temple's first floor, as well as in six other temples located within the complex.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad has carved its mark on the pathway into the temples of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya. On June 5, 2025, the Ram Mandir will witness the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) of the Ram Darbar along with 14 new temples within the complex. This monumental spiritual milestone coincides with the auspicious festival of Ganga Dussehra. Artisans from the city-based Anuradha Timbers International have masterfully hand-carved all the stunningly beautiful, intricately hand-carved wooden, sacred doors that have been installed at all the newly constructed temples within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir complex in Ayodhya. All carving and carpentry works were executed at a specially established workshop near the temple site in Ayodhya, which was set up prior to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, following the inspiration and encouragement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The PM had earlier appreciated the exquisite craftsmanship of the carved temple doors during his public meetings held in Telangana. The temples to be consecrated include Ram Darbar on the first floor, housing the idols of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughna, and Hanuman. Six Temples on the Parkota or Outer Wall of Lord Shiva (Northeast corner), Lord Ganesha (Southeast corner), Lord Hanuman (Southern side), Lord Surya (Southwest corner), Goddess Bhagwati (Northwest corner) and Goddess Annapurna (Northern side) There are seven temples in the Sapt Mandapam Area of Sage Vashistha, Sage Valmiki,.Sage Agastya, Sage Vishwamitra, Ahalya,.Shabari and Nishadraj. The ceremonial events will take place from June 3 to 5, 2025, with the grand Pran Pratishtha on the final day. "This sacred project is proud milestone for us at Anuradha Timbers International. We remain committed to upholding the spiritual and cultural heritage of Bharat through our craftsmanship. With work continuing on several remaining doors for the Parkota, our teams are working around the clock to ensure timely completion with unmatched devotion and precision," Chadalavada Sharath Babu, managing partner of Anuradha Timbers told NDTV.

Ayodhya is set for the second phase of the consecration ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. According to officials, the ceremony will begin on Tuesday. The officials also said that as a precursor to the 'Pran Pratishtha', a grand sacred procession was flagged off from the banks of the Saryu River on Monday. Ahead of the event, police and administration officials have put Ayodhya on high alert, with deployment of commandos from the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and armoured vehicles around the temple complex. The complex has been declared a red zone, and surveillance will be continued around the clock in three shifts. The rituals at the upcoming event will include the consecration of idols in Ram Darbar, located on the temple's first floor and in six other temples within the complex walls. According to officials, the main ceremonies will culminate on June 5, the same day as Ganga Dussehra The rituals to be held on June 3 and 4 include fire offerings, chanting of 1,975 mantras, reciting of devotional hymns like Ram Raksha Stotra, Hanuman Chalisa and other hymns from 6.30 am to 6.30 pm. On June 5, the main consecration of idols of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman and Lord Hanuman will take place. Along with the main consecration event, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to attend three other key events. This includes the Saryu Trayodashi Utsav, the birthday celebrations of trust president Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, and an event on the World Environment Day. Officials urged people not to visit A statement was issued by Champat Rai, secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, urging people to not visit Ayodhya as no public invitation has been issued. The statement clarified that while the temple remains open for 'darshan' of lord Ram, the first-floor Ram Darbar and nearby temples are still under construction and are not open to devotees. Extensive arrangements have been made to make the event a success. District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde said that arrangements including waiting areas, drinking water, ORS sachets and sanitation areas have been made for visitors. Meanwhile, the Kalash Yatra began on Monday evening from the Saryu Ghat and went through Veena Chowk, Ram Path, Singar Haat and Rang Mahal Barrier before reaching the temple premises. According to an official statement, the upcoming rituals will include the consecration of idols in the Ram Darbar on the temple's first floor and in six other temples within the complex walls. The Kalash Yatra began on Monday evening from the Saryu Ghat and proceeded through Veena Chowk, Ram Path, Singar Haat and Rang Mahal Barrier before reaching the temple premises. No public invitations have been issued for June 3 to 5. Rai clarified that while the temple remains open for 'darshan' of Ram Lalla, the first-floor Ram Darbar and nearby temples are still under construction and are not open to devotees. District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde said extensive arrangements -- including shaded waiting areas, drinking water, sanitation and ORS sachets -- have been made for visitors at both the Ram Mandir and Hanumangarhi. Emergency hospital beds have also been reserved across the district. Senior Superintendent of Police Gaurav Grover said multiple site inspections have been conducted and security has been fortified at all levels, both inside and outside the temple. Personnel from the Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) and Special Task Force (STF) are also deployed to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. A similar three-day celebration was held on January 11, marking the first anniversary of the original 'pran pratishtha' was held on January 22 last year. It was led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. That event drew lakhs of devotees. A large turnout is expected again this week.
