Highley pub's wooden chalet destroyed in fire
A fire has destroyed a pub's chalet after it ripped through the Fire and Rescue Service were called to the Malt Shovel Pub in Highley on Saturday at about 00:12 posted on the fire service's Facebook page show firefighters extinguishing glowing red and orange crews from Bridgnorth, Kidderminster and Cleobury Mortimer were sent to the blaze and discovered the remains of a wooden chalet, a spokesperson added. Delays after vehicle fire on M54 between Telford and Wellington
Drivers are being warned of delays on the M54 westbound after a vehicle fire. Crews were called to reports of a car fire near junction six (Telford West) at 16:38 BST, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service service confirmed that the fire, which involved a diesel, saloon car, had been extinguished at 17:13 BST, however traffic remained slow. One out of three lanes are closed between junction five (Telford Central) and junction six (Telford West), National Highways said. Much Wenlock farm shop 'completely destroyed' in fire overnight
A farm shop has been "completely destroyed" in a fire overnight, emergency services workers at the scene have Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to Wenlock Edge Farm on East Wall, Much Wenlock, just before 03:00 BST on blaze involved a single-storey industrial building that also contained the farm shop, Craig Jackson, a fire investigation officer, told the BBC. The building had suffered 95% damage and had been "completely destroyed", but no one had been injured, Mr Jackson said. He added that the cause of the fire was still being investigated. Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said the industrial building was being used as a meat-processing factory, adding that no one had been inside when crews firefighters were deployed to tackle the blaze in the small hours of the Jackson said the farm's owners had called the fire service after being alerted by neighbours. Firefighters tackle blaze at Telford's Halesfield 5 factory
A blaze at a factory in Telford is being tackled by firefighters. Crews were called to the Halesfield 5 industrial estate at about 19:00 BST, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said. Lightning strike sets fire to roof of Shropshire house
A lightning strike during a thunderstorm has set fire to the roof of a Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to Three Ashes Road in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, at 16:09 BST on said when it arrived there was smoke coming from the roof, but "difficult conditions inside" caused problems getting to the fire in the roof said firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before it took hold and destroyed the whole roof.
