Tanisha Mehta spoke about being part of Smriti Irani's comeback show Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2.
Tannisha Mehta, who made her television debut with Shubh Laabh – Aapkey Ghar Mein returns to the home screen with the most-awaited show of the year, Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2.
The actress, who is playing the role of Vrinda in the new season, is thrilled to be a part of this iconic show. Tanisha spoke about being part of the show, her journey into the acting industry. She also opened up about how she took acting as her career and the bold step of moving to India after being raised in New Zealand and Australia.

Tanisha, who is renowned for her role in Ikk Kudi Punjab Di, is extremely excited to be a part of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2. In a conversation with The Times of India, the actress shared, 'It honestly feels surreal. Being chosen as the lead in such an iconic television show is a huge honour."
Tanisha added that growing up by watching shows like this and now get a chance to be a part of it feels extremely special. She said, 'I grew up watching shows like these—ones that become a part of people's daily lives and create lasting memories for famiTo now be part of that legacy feels incredibly special."
She further asserted, 'I'm aware of the responsibility that comes with it, and I'm giving it everythingI have. I just hope the audience welcomes me with the same love they have always given to this show. I get goosebumps every time I think about it. I am very grateful to Ekta Kapoor ma'am for this opportunity."
Tanisha Mehta's Struggle With Indian Accent
When asked how challenging it was to adapt the strong Indian accent, after being born and raised in New Zealand and Australia, Tanisha stated, 'I have put in a lot of work on my Hindi, from taking Hindi and Urdu classes to attending diction and voice modulation workshops."
The actress noted that she watched television for countless hours, constantly listened to podcasts, recorded her auditions and honed her skills by continuously listening to her records and making corrections. She mentioned, 'It hasn't been easy, but with consistent effort, practice truly does lead to success."
Tanisha Mehta's Role In Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi
In Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay's show, Tanisha steps in as Vrinda Patel. Her character is the love interest of Angad (played by Rohit Suchanti), who is Tulsi and Mihir's son.
Kyuni Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi premiered on July 29 on Star Plus and JioHotstar. It airs at 10:30 pm.
