Actress Huma Qureshi's Juhu villa's monthly rental could be an engineer's annual package. Here's a glimpse of the lavish house
Bollywood siblings Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem are living large in Mumbai's upscale Juhu neighbourhood, and their luxurious villa has caught the attention of fans — and even filmmaker Farah Khan, who recently featured it on her YouTube vlog. Located in the Equest Condominium on Juhu Tara Road, the bungalow, fittingly named Shukr, is not only massive but also dripping with personality, comfort, and refined taste. According to GQ India, the rental agreement for the villa was registered on February 25, 2025, with a whopping Rs 30 lakh security deposit and a five-year tenure starting from March 20. Hindustan Times adds that the agreement includes a 48-month lock-in period and a 10% rent hike after the first 36 months — a monthly rental figure so steep, it could rival the yearly income of many Indian engineers. Her video tour begins with a waiting area dressed in floral wallpaper, elegant white furniture, and curated wall art. I don't think we'll find anything better than this.' The episode also offered a glimpse into their roots. Saqib spoke about their family-run restaurant, Saleem's, a Delhi favourite started by their father at the age of 17. Now 47 years old, the eatery remains a beloved legacy. Their mother, Ameena Qureshi, runs a salon called AMIQUR, blending the family's entrepreneurial spirit with creative flair.

Gemayel files complaint against Hezbollah official over threats to civil peace

The complaint alleges that Shukr's public speech on July 6, 2025, during Hezbollah's Ashoura procession, included direct threats to kill those who call for disarming the party, incitement to violence, and sectarian rhetoric. In the speech, Shukr told the Lebanese who want to take Hezbollah's arms, "we will take your souls," adding that weapons are sacred to the group and linking Hezbollah's disarmament to the liberation of Palestine. "We will not disarm before Zionists leave Palestine," Shukr said.
