Man dies after surviving on only beer for a month post-divorce
A 44-year-old man from Thailand was found dead in his bedroom after reportedly surviving only on beer for the past month, following a painful divorce. The deceased, identified as Thaweesak Namwongsa, lived in Ban Chang district of Rayong. He was discovered unconscious by his 16-year-old son after suffering a seizure. Emergency workers from the Siam Rayong Foundation were called to the home, but by the time they arrived, Namwongsa had already died. According to police, the teenager had been trying to feed his father hot meals every day, but Namwongsa refused to eat any food. He had only been drinking alcohol, apparently to cope with the emotional distress caused by his separation from his wife. Officers said that more than 100 empty beer bottles were found in the bedroom, arranged in such a way that only a narrow path was left for Namwongsa to move in and out of bed. An autopsy will be carried out to confirm the exact cause of death, but police suspect that 'excessive alcohol consumption' may have played a key role in the tragedy. This incident comes months after a similar alcohol-related death that made headlines in Thailand. Thanakarn Kanthee, a Thai social media influencer better known online as 'Bank Leicester', died after downing two bottles of whisky as part of a party bet. Kanthee, who was already intoxicated, took on a challenge to drink the bottles within 20 minutes in exchange for 30,000 Thai baht (approximately ₹ 75,228). He collapsed soon after and was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The teenager told police that despite his daily efforts to cook and offer hot meals, his father refused to eat and relied solely on beer. The boy returned from school one day to find his father lying unconscious in the bedroom, apparently after suffering a seizure. Paramedics from the Siam Rayong Foundation were called to the scene, but Namwongsa had already passed away by the time they arrived. House littered with beer bottles Emergency responders reported a grim scene inside the room, where over 100 empty beer bottles were strewn across the floor. Narrow walkways had been cleared amongst the bottles, allowing just enough space for Namwongsa to move in and out of bed. The Daily Mail reported that the excessive alcohol consumption likely contributed to his sudden collapse and death. Autopsy pending Authorities have yet to confirm the official cause of death. However, an autopsy is scheduled to take place later this week. Early indications suggest that Namwongsa's long-term alcohol abuse may have played a major role in the incident. According to his son, the father began drinking heavily after the divorce and eventually stopped eating altogether, choosing instead to drink beer continuously.

Dad, 44, dies after drinking only BEER for a month as shocking photo of floor covered in empty bottles emerges
A DAD has died surrounded by over a hundred empty beer bottles after he only drank booze for an entire month. Thaweesak Namwongsa, 44, reportedly suffered a seizure and tragically passed away before paramedics could save him. 3 3 Namwongsa was discovered by his 16-year-old son who lived with him after his parents divorced. The teen revealed his dad had shunned food and was only drinking only beer in the month before his death. He told police he had tried to cook hot meals for his father every day, but he simply refused to eat anything. Then one day when the teenager came home from school he found Namwongsa unconscious after suffering a seizure. Rescue workers from the Siam Rayong Foundation were called to a house in the Ban Chang district of Rayong, Thailand but by the time they arrived the dad-of-one had died. Paramedics recalled finding over 100 empty beer bottles neatly arranged on the bedroom floor. A narrow path had been laid out between them to allow the man to get in and out of his bed. His son said the man started to drink heavily after becoming divorced. It is suspected that this emotional strain could have led him to replace food with beer. Namwongsa's cause of death is yet to be confirmed. An autopsy is set to be performed on the body later this week. Officials do believe the excessive alcohol consumption is likely to have contributed. It comes as at least six people died and dozens more were left fighting for their lives after drinking 'rotgut' booze infused with toxic chemicals in Bangkok. The victims allegedly bought the moonshine spiked with methanol and isopropanol from street stalls. Soon after, they began suffering dizziness, breathing difficulties, and vomiting - telltale symptoms of alcohol poisoning. 3
