Not Ajay Devgn's nephew Aaman Devgan but THIS actor was 1st choice for Azaad, here's what went wrong
Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn 's nephew Aaman Devgan recently made his Bollywood debut with Azaad alongside Raveena Tandon's daughter Rasha Thadani. The duo made waves with their fiery chemistry on-screen. However, Aaman wasn't the first choice for his role. Instead, Siddharth Nigam, known for his role in Hai Junoon, was the first choice. But things didn't go well after the entire script was narrated to him. In a recent conversation with Instant Bollywood, Siddharth Nigam 's mother shed light on the same and revealed, 'I took him along for the meeting. The entire script was narrated, and we waited for a year.' She revealed she was quite happy with the film as it would have been a 'strong launch' of Siddharth Nigam in the industry. She also shared that she liked the story of Azaad. Unfortunately, things didn't go well. Admitting the same, Siddharth's mother stated, 'Suddenly, after two years, Siddharth showed me the poster of Azaad and said, 'Mum, this has been released, and these are the people in the film'. Then we saw that the film starred Ajay Devgn's nephew and Rasha.' She revealed feeling bad for the first time in her life and added that both Aaman and Rasha are star kids and 'that made all the difference'. Siddharth Nigam chimed in adding that that there's no use of blaming anyone, as such decisions are part and parcel of the film industry. He shared that while it was disappointing, it brought a sense of clarity. After holding onto hope for nearly a year, seeing the teaser was the moment of acceptance for him, a quiet realization that it was time to let go and move forward. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, Azaad features Ajay Devgn, Diana Penty, Aaman Devgan, and Rasha Thadani. Meanwhile, on the work front, Siddharth Nigam was recently seen in the drama series Hai Junoon! Directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Aditya Bhat, it features Neil Nitin Mukesh, Boman Irani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sumedh Mudgalkar, and Yukti Thareja. You can catch the series on JioHotstar.

This top TV actor lost a big film, was replaced by a star kid, earned only Rs 8 crore in a budget of Rs 40 crore, name is…, film is…
There are dozens of such films in Bollywood in which stars replace each other. However, some of those films become huge hits at the box office, while some are wiped out within a week. Today we are going to tell you about one such film, in which the mother of a big TV actor claimed that her son was supposed to be cast in this film, but he was replaced by a big star kid. However, that film proved to be the biggest flop at the box office. This often happens in Bollywood when an actor is replaced by another actor in a film. Sometimes this change proves beneficial for the film, and sometimes not. Today, we are going to tell you about one such film, in which a big TV actor was first cast, but later he was removed and a star kid was cast. The interesting thing is that this film flopped badly at the box office, and all the hopes of the makers were shattered. You will also be surprised to hear the name of this film, because this film was released this year and went away after causing a big loss to the makers. We are talking about none other than 'Azad', which is going to hit the theatres on 17 January 2025, for which TV actor Siddharth Nigam was initially selected. This claim was made by Siddharth's mother herself in a recent interview. She said that she had gone to the meeting of film screening with her son, and the entire script was also narrated and she was happy. She said that she was confident that this film would give a great start to her son's career. But after some time, it was revealed that someone else had been cast in the film. Siddharth's mother said that she had waited for this film for almost a year. When, after two year,s her son showed her the poster of the film, she was shocked. She saw that Ajay Devgn's nephew Aman Devgan and Raveena Tandon's daughter Rasha Thadani were seen in the poster. She was very sad at that time. However, Siddharth also did not say anything about this. He said that when he saw the teaser of the film, he understood that it is better to move forward now. Currently, Siddharth is in the news for his new web show 'Hai Junoon', in which people are liking his work very much and he is in the headlines again. At the same time, if we talk about this film, then this film directed by Abhishek Kapoor earned only 8 crores in a budget of 40 crores and it became the biggest flop film of 2025.

Actor Siddharth Nigam, known for his role in Hai Junoon, recently shared his experience about auditioning for Dhoom 3. Recalling the time he was invited to try out for the film, in which he portrayed the younger version of Aamir Khan 's character, Siddharth admitted that initially, he suspected the audition call to be a hoax and feared "Mumbai bula ke bech diya to' as he wasn't aware of Yash Raj Films. Recalling his initial unfamiliarity with Bollywood, Siddharth Nigam told Hindustan Times that when Yash Raj Films and Shanoo ma'am contacted him, he and his family were scared and uncertain about where to go, as they had no connections in Mumbai. He even wondered if the call was a prank and, being an avid viewer of Crime Patrol and Savdhaan India, feared that they might be lured to Mumbai and exploited. He admitted that at the time, he had no idea what Yash Raj Films was or who Shanoo ma'am was. Siddharth revealed that eventually, his brother looked up Yash Raj Films and Shanoo Sharma to grasp the importance of the opportunity. Once they confirmed it was genuine, everything changed for them. He expressed his gratitude for the warm reception he received from the industry, especially from Yash Raj Films, saying he would always be thankful. In 2025, Siddharth Nigam is prominently featured in the show Hai Junoon, which revolves around a spirited dance group competing against their college's elite singing choir. He portrays Vikram, a hopeful singer battling with self-doubt and ambition, guided by the character played by Neil Nitin Mukesh. Siddharth shared that he relates to Vikram's journey, describing him as someone pursuing dreams while uncertain about his place, reflecting the experience of many outsiders. Despite entering the industry early, Siddharth said he is still evolving and discovering his own voice. He also mentioned that working on Hai Junoon brought him back to his humble beginnings in Prayagraj, where he was once a gymnast, unaware of the entertainment world ahead. He recalled his modest upbringing, with his mother running a small beauty parlour. Although he doesn't consider himself to have struggled extensively, he credits early opportunities. Still, he had to navigate and figure out the path.
