KSI's life and career ahead of potential new gig
KSI is tipped to become a permanent fixture in Britain's Got Talent following reports one of the judges has quit the show after two years. The influencer and boxer has appeared as a guest judge on the latest season of the British version of the Got Talent franchise, which is presented by Ant & Dec. The last three seasons have seen Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon joined by former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli (who took over from David Walliams). The drinks come in a variety of flavours and are marketed as energy drinks and sports drinks with varying levels of caffeine, electrolytes and micronutrients. When the drink was first released there was mania as people tried to get their hands on the coveted drink — due to the high demand and limited supply the price of the drink increased with one eBay listing offering 12 bottles for £400. Along with a pretty decorated list of TV and film appearances, the latest for the YouTuber was a guest appearance on the recent series of Britain's Got Talent when he stepped in for Bruno Tonioli and Simon Cowell on different occassions. Tonioli had commitments to the American version of Dancing with the Stars while Simon Cowell missed shows due to the death of One Direction's Liam Payne. A show insider has told The Sun that following Bruno's departure from BGT, bosses are 'hoping that KSI will replace him.'

Maya Jama has found herself at the center of a heated dispute with KSI and the Sidemen after making a throwaway remark about their private school backgrounds. The Love Island host, 30, appeared on the The Chunkz Show podcast with her friend Chunkz (Amin Mohamed), and a casual comment she made spiraled into a tense exchange between her and the YouTube stars. During the podcast, Maya was asked whether she preferred Beta Squad or Sidemen, the two popular British YouTube collectives. She confirmed that she was closer to Beta Squad, mentioning her friendship with members like Chunkz and Tobi Brown, and saying, "It's a very clear Beta Squad for me." Maya went on to explain that while she got along with KSI and Tobi, she didn't have much of a connection with the rest of the Sidemen, referring to them as having a "private school, different upbringing." Chunkz jokingly added, "Not your kind of people," and Maya responded, "No offence, they smashed it well done from being rich." Her offhand comment about Sidemen's private school background and wealth didn't sit well with the group. KSI and his Sidemen members quickly addressed the remark on their own podcast. KSI started the discussion by mentioning Maya's comment, with Ethan Payne particularly vocal in his response. Ethan criticized Maya for assuming things about their backgrounds, sharing personal stories of hardship, including his father's struggles. During her time on the podcast last month, Maya was asked whether she preferred Beta Squad or Sidemen - both rival British collectives made up of YouTubers, influencers and internet personalities. Maya went on to confirm that she prefers Beta Squad - of which her pal Chunkz, 29, is a member - over Sidemen which is made up of KSI, Josh Bradley, Simon Minter, Tobi Brown, Ethan Payne, Vikram Barn and Harry Lewis. She told her pal: 'It's a very clear Beta Squad for me. I'm way closer with them lot.
