Evansville locals flock to Main Street for last minute Mothers Day shopping
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Evansville residents hit Main Street today looking for last-minute Mother's Day gifts. Plenty of downtown businesses also received attention today as vendors set up shop on Main Street for this year's Sidewalk Sale. Posh on Main's owner Vicki Bohleber says clothes and jewelry have been the most popular items in addition to many others made by local vendors. 'I count on those people who have become my regulars, and I saw a lot of those today,' says Bohleber. 'That's what I need to keep my store going. All small businesses are a little bit struggling right now, so it's really great when I see the street full of people.'
