Woman left mortified when she steps into a store & realises her and boyfriend's matching tattoos was a terrible mistake

A MATCHING tattoo with your significant other is always a cute idea - if you know you'll spend the rest of your life with them. Or if - as one woman recently discovered - you double-check the adorable inking doesn't stand for something else. 5 5 Keen to take the relationship to the next step and showcase their love for one another, Lauren Mullane and her former partner got matching tattoos. The inking that the young Irish lass placed on her wrist read ''Siempre'' - which in Spanish translates to ''Always''. But while the pair may have not thought much about the seemingly innocent tattoo, Lauren was in for the shock of her lifetime after a visit to the local Lid l left her mortified. Sharing the epic fail on her TikTok page, the blonde beauty revealed how the romantic ''Siempre'' had a very different meaning in the beauty aisle - where a period pad brand was also named Siempre. To make the matters even worse, it appeared that both the wrist inking and the brand's logo had the exact same font, leaving Lauren horrified. ''POV: You get a matching tattoo with your ex and it turns out to be the Lidl period pad range logo,'' she wrote in the video. ''At least I have a monthly reminder now,'' she joked in the caption. 'Brand ambassador' Since being posted on the social media platform, the unfortunate yet hilarious blunder has left people in hysterics. The short video has racked up more than a whopping 800k views, close to 14k likes and over 250 shares. In total stitches, dozens flooded to comments, where one person dubbed Lauren ''brand ambassador''. I got an elephant tattoo - but it looks like a penis Another was just as mortified as the young Irish lass, writing: ''Even got the same font.'' A third chimed in: ''ABSOLUTELY NOT.'' ''Paid partnership incoming,'' someone else chuckled. Luckily, not everyone thought the funny mishap was as bad, with one writing: ''It means always so you're good! ''I'd know the meaning straight away, I would not ever have thought of the period products!'' Tattoo Do's and Don'ts 1. Think, think and think some more Tattoos done on a whim are far more likely to lead to regret than a tattoo you thought long and hard about. Think about why you want what you've chosen. And if you still want it after a few months, then get it. 2. Age restrictions apply You must be 18 years old to be tattooed in the UK. 3. Don't haggle over the price When you go to a tattoo shop the price is the price. You are paying for an artist's time and skills, they charge what they believe those things are worth. 4. Don't get tattooed while you're hungry Eat before you go for your tattoo session and make sure you're hydrated. You're about to be subjected to a period of sustained physical discomfort, if you're feeling a little weak from hunger or you're dehydrated things will not go as smoothly as they should. 5. Don't drink alcohol before you get tattooed If you are drunk or under the influence of drugs, don't go for a tattoo. In fact, if your tattooist has anything at all about them they will turn you away if you are clearly under the influence of any intoxicating substances. I'd also avoid drinking the night before, even a few drinks will thin your blood and make your bleed more. Phallic tattoo design gone wrong 5 5 This comes just days after one mum was left horrified after she discovered her brand new sleeve inking looked like something very rude. Mother-of-three Christine Philippa forked out for the floral inking five years ago and initially loved the design - which also included a naked woman's image facing away. But what the mum, from New Zealand, didn't realise right away is that when she was wearing a short sleeve top or dress, the outline of the female figure resembled something phallic. Desperate to get rid of the unfortunate design and placement, Christina recently popped down to have the sleeve inking finished - in hopes to get rid of the awkward fail. She shared on TikTok: ''I've had a ball sack on my arm for five years now and now it's time to fix it.'' According to the brown-eyed stunner, she had designed the inking with her pal - and at the time, didn't account for what the naked woman's ''butt would look like when it's covered''. Christine, who posts under the username @ christinephilippa, made an appointment with a tattoo whizz who completed the rest of the floral design. All chuffed with the makeover - which also included the dates of her children's birthdays - Christine proudly showed off her fresh artwork. The stunning piece included a range of different florals, with the woman sat in the middle between the top and bottom part. ''Isn't that absolutely stunning? I am obsessed with it,'' she said in the now-viral video. ''I have a floral piece on my shoulder as well, so it all kind of ties in nicely.'' Since being posted online, the tattoo transformation has racked up close to 700k views at the time of writing, as well as 36k likes, 352 shares and over 50 comments. But while the young mum may have been pleased with the results, brutal social media users insisted the phallic fail was still peeking through. One eagle-eyed TiKToker joked: ''But it's still there lol still gonna look the same when the rest is covered.

New premium craft tequila TRULUSSÓ is launching

Contemporary tequila drinkers have a lot of brands to choose from. It's enough to make you feel overwhelmed. They will have one more to choose from because a new premium tequila brand is joining the shuffle. It's called Trulussó, and it's launching with three expressions: Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo. This new line of premium tequilas is distilled twice and bottled at Feliciano Vivanco distillery (NOM 1414) in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico. It's crafted by well-known master tequilero Sergio Cruz (known for Siempre, Yeyo, Los Dos, Cruz, and more tequilas). The brand was co-founded by friends Jay Mackey and Corey Millionz (with Micah McDonald joining as a partner in 2023). They launched The Trulussó Group in 2021, and the launch of the tequila brand is a culmination of their love of the spirit and their partnership with Feliciano Vivanco distillery. 'Our vision for Trulussó has always been to elevate tequila beyond the ordinary,' co-founder Jay Mackey said in a press release. 'We were captivated by the spirit's deep roots, complex flavors, and cultural legacy. Trulussó is our tribute to that tradition—a celebration of excellence that honors Mexico's craftsmanship while setting new standards in the world of premium spirits.' Trulussó is currently available at select retailers and on the brand's website. Trulussó Blanco is available for the suggested price of $129. Trulussó Reposado is available for the suggested price of $149. Trulussó Añejo is available for the suggested price of $179.
