LIDL is selling a handy electric gadget which is hitting the middle aisle in just days.
In good news for any shopper, it's over £30 less than a version being sold by Screwfix.
The budget supermarket has listed a 4-Socket Extension Lead by the brand Silverlead on its website.
Alongside normal sockets, it also contains two USB charging ports which are perfect for any smartphone or tablet.
If you want to charge your e-reader, you can use either the USB-A and USB-C socket.
With a 1.5-metre cable length, a three-year warranty period, and four normal power sockets, this is the perfect gadget for tech lovers.
You will also be able to easily tell if it is in use or if power is going through with an illuminated light switch.
Lidl shoppers will be able to get their hands on this product in store for under a tenner, with a bargain price listed at just £7.99.
In comparison, Screwfix is selling a similar surge-protected extension lead for a huge £39.99.
Although it has four sockets like its budget counterpart, there are no USB ports for tablets.
It is also only 30 cm longer, with a cable length of 1.8 m, but there are other smart features.
It is quick and easy to install and it comes with a power-on light and overload protections.

Users would be able to control each socket using a wireless remote or by using the MiHome app on a smartphone or a tablet.
Homeowners would have power to use different features including timers, geofencing and simple on and off switches.
The smart hub gateway is required for full use of the gadget, however it can be used within a range of 30 metres.
However, the product is not recommended for use in safety critical applications as it does not send responses back to the technical gateway.
