SRCC Placements See 19% Growth, Rs 36 Lakh Top CTC & 520+ Job Offers Secured

SRCC recorded over 520 offers and a highest package of Rs 36 lakh. This year, top firms like BCG, McKinsey, and Blackstone hired across 15+ sectors. Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), University of Delhi, witnessed a robust placement season for 2024–25, with students receiving over 520 final offers across top-tier firms. The highest annual package stood at Rs 36 lakh, underlining sustained demand for SRCC's undergraduate talent across consulting, finance, and tech-driven sectors. The total gross package value hit Rs 51.5 crore, marking a 19% increase from last year, the Placement Cell said. More than 15 sectors were represented in the recruitment cycle, with marquee recruiters including McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, Blackstone, Nomura, Deutsche Bank, DE Shaw, FTI Consulting, Accenture Strategy, Kepler Cannon, and Meesho. In addition to full-time offers, SRCC students secured over 120 internship opportunities, with the highest monthly stipend reaching Rs 2.2 lakh. The total value of internship offers came to Rs 57.2 lakh, with the average stipend witnessing a 12.5% increase year-on-year. Principal Professor Simrit Kaur credited the success to the college's academic environment and structured training efforts. 'The Placement Cell at Shri Ram College of Commerce continues to embody the academic rigour and institutional vision that have long defined our legacy," she said. 'The outcomes of the 2024–25 recruitment season are a testament not only to the calibre of our students but to the sustained and strategic efforts of the Cell." This year, the Cell organised over 80 corporate engagement sessions, including ones led by McKinsey, BCG, and impact consultancy Dalberg. These initiatives benefited more than 1,000 students, strengthening SRCC's industry interface and student readiness for competitive roles. SRCC continues to feature among DU's top-performing colleges in both placements and admissions. In the first round of seat allocations for the 2025–26 session, it remained one of the most preferred institutions for commerce aspirants under CUET. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
