No trademark for Op Sindoor yet, Defence Ministry seeks special protection of logo
The government on Monday clarified that no trademark applications for the terms 'Operation Sindoor' or 'Ops Sindoor' have been accepted yet. The disclosure came in response to a series of questions raised by Member of Parliament Sagarika Ghose in the Rajya of State for Commerce & Industry Jitin Prasada informed the House that while the Trademarks Registry has seen a sharp rise in filings related to 'Operation Sindoor,' none have been approved to date. 'No application has been accepted till date and one application has been withdrawn,' the Minister withdrawn application was filed by Reliance Industries, hours after the government announced the military operation.
