Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Nelly Karim's upcoming star-studded TV series for the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon has undergone yet another name change, making this the third time the series has been renamed. Originally announced as "Gany Fil Manam", the series changed its name to "Naqs Dela" in December 2024, and will now go under the title of "Ekhwaty". The series also stars Ruby, Kinda Alloush, Gihan El Shamashergy, Aly Kassem, Hatem Salah, and more. It is scripted by Mohab Tarek, directed by Mohamed Shaker Khadir, and produced by Media Hub. The 42-year-old announced via Instagram that she no longer has cancer cells in her body, after previously announcing in June that she'd privately endured cancer treatment. "Today I announce my complete recovery from cancer... Congratulate me 🙏🙏💚💚💚🤍🤍 8/12/2024," she wrote. Fans and fellow celebrities have flooded the comments with outpouring of love, congratulations, admiration, and good wishes. In a June interview with Prominent TV host Mona El-Shazly, she said that was diagnosed with cancer a year and a half ago. She felt pain while breastfeeding her son, Karim, so, she stopped breastfeeding him. Afterward, Alloush underwent various medical tests that showed various tumors, but she held on and never broke down. She also opened up about her absence from acting and the public appearance was due to her undergoing treatment and completing her arduous journey against the disease as she preferred to focus on her health and stay away from work pressures. Alloush added that her husband, actor Amr Youssef, supported her and insisted on attending the therapy sessions with her.
