There is some uncertainty with the forecast, but the best chances for storms to start firing up are in west-central Minnesota. There is a Level 2 risk of severe weather for much of Minnesota on Saturday, including the Twin Cities, from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday. The main threats with Saturday's potentially strong storms are large hail, strong wind gusts, isolated tornadoes and localized flooding. There is now a slight chance of severe storms later in the evening, with the most likely timeframe being between 5 p.m. and midnight.
