‘Putin is bluffing': Zelensky warns Trump not to trust Russian President

Sky News US Analyst Michael Ware questions Russian President Vladimir Putin's intentions behind meeting with US President Donald Trump in Anchorage, Alaska. 'As the Ukrainian President Zelensky told President Trump, Putin is bluffing, don't believe a word he says,' Mr Ware said. 'From past experience, we know to rely on that or to anticipate that. 'We've got to find a way where Vladimir Putin starts to believe that it's in his interests for this war to stop, but that's very difficult.'

Alaska summit pits Trump's deal-making against Putin's imperial ambitions

Sky News US Analyst Michael Ware discusses the upcoming meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Alaskan city of Anchorage. 'President Trump and his administration have, in the last 72 hours, dampened down expectations for the outcome of his historic meeting,' Mr Ware said. 'Here we have the wild card real estate deal maker coming against the immovable force that is Putin, who is a hard-nosed imperialist. 'This strikes to the core of Putin's being, it strikes to his view of the heart of mother Russia and its lost empire and of Putin's personal place in history.'

UK, France and Canada recognising Palestine will ‘change nothing on the ground'

Sky News US analyst Michael Ware says the UK, France and Canada recognising the Palestinian State will be 'symbolic' but will 'change nothing on the ground'. 'It would be symbolic just as we now know that Canada is joining the UK and France in declaring it will also recognise the Palestinian State at the UN General Assembly in September,' Mr Ware said. 'That will have not insignificant symbolic importance – it's true nothing will change on the ground.'

‘Was daily taking tranquilizers': ‘Damning information' about Hillary Clinton exposed

Sky News US analyst Michael Ware discusses the 'damning information' Russian intelligence collected on Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign. Russia's foreign intelligence service (SVR) had collected information which revealed Ms Clinton was suffering from 'intensified psycho-emotional problems, including uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness'. Allegedly, Ms Clinton was also placed on a daily regimen of 'heavy tranquilizers'. 'That falls into something that the Director of National Intelligence said. She said that they got information that Hillary Clinton was daily, I believe, taking tranquilizers,' Mr Ware told Sky News Australia.
