As you will see in the table below, the rankings suggest that you will be satisfied if you take advantage of the Sky Bet sign-up offer. Sky Bet understands this and provides a safer gambling section to help its users to bet responsibly. It includes tools such as deposit limits, reality checks, cool-off periods and self-exclusion. There is advice on how to identify if you have a gambling problem and how to deal with it. Sometimes the sensible thing to do is to reach out for help, and Sky Bet provides contact information for organisations such as GamCare, Gamble Aware, the National Gambling Treatment Service and Gambling Therapy. Sky Bet app There are events to bet on at Sky Bet 24 hours a day. Its mobile betting app gives you the scope to do this, no matter where you are. We were impressed with the simplicity of the Sky Bet app design. It's not flashy and is all the better for it, with the crisp and clear look helping to make it easy to find your bet of choice. Sky Bet prominently displays popular events and bets. The menu system is simple to navigate, with the most popular options easily available and other betting categories discreetly hidden away to prevent clutter, while only ever being a click away. We found that loading times were fast. The Sky Bet app deals admirably with features such as live streaming and virtual betting, while sections of the service such as casino and slots games are a pleasure to play on the smaller screen. Overall, we think that the Sky Bet mobile betting app is one of the best around. You don't lose any of the functionality that is found when using the site via a laptop, which is ultimately the main objective of any app. Sky Bet deposit and withdrawal options One of the most important aspects when reviewing any sports betting site are the payment options. This might not immediately spring to mind, but although it's not the most exciting topic, if you're going to bet, you will need to be able to make swift payments to your bookmaker and make quick withdrawals, with a range of options and convenience of use being necessary. Let's take a look at Sky Bet's payment options. Sky Bet deposit methods Sky Bet withdrawal methods Here are the details of Sky Bet's withdrawal methods. Why should I join Sky Bet? The Sky Bet sign-up offer catches the eye from the off, requiring very little investment to unlock your bonus. The range of offers for regular customers is varied and are updated frequently. As good as these promotions are, it would be no use if Sky Bet did not have a betting product to match and it certainly does. This is a one-stop shop for your betting needs, whether that's sports betting, casino, poker or bingo. You can find the Best casino sites here As you might expect from the Sky brand, which is synonymous with sports broadcasting, this is a sports betting site that really excels. It is particularly good for football betting. At Sky Bet, you will find that there's a real emphasis on markets devoted to statistical elements of the game. There are football betting opportunities at Sky Bet that are not available at other bookmakers, so this betting site is a must for fans of the beautiful game. It also excels with its coverage of other sports, providing useful features such as bet builders, cash-out and live streaming. So whatever your fancy, Sky Bet have you covered. What to consider when joining Sky Bet Before you commit to signing up with any bookmaker, there are certain aspects that you should consider. Here are a few things to think about prior to taking advantage of the Sky Bet free sign-up offer. Gamble responsibly Gambling is a safe activity as long as you do it responsibly. Sky Bet provides all the tools that you need to do this, such as deposit limits and exclusion options. It also offers excellent advice on the topic and provides contact details for organisations that can help if gambling becomes a problem. UK licensing The United Kingdom Gambling Commission is an organisation that licenses the activity of betting in the UK. UKGC-licensed betting sites such as Sky Bet must adhere to the commission's rules and regulations, which are in place to protect bettors and act in their best interests. Free bets expiry When you take advantage of the Sky Bet sign-up offer online and receive your free bets, you have 30 days to use them before they expire. The expiry of free bets is common for betting site promotions and in many instances you may only have seven days to use them. One-offer-per-household restrictions Another common clause with betting promos is for the offer to only be available for one person per household. So if you use the sign-up offer at Sky Bet, other members of your household, such as family members or your partner, will not be able to subsequently claim the deal. When free bets are released The terms and conditions of betting offers will reveal when any free bets are released. With Sky Bet's welcome offer you receive the free bets once you have placed the stake on your qualifying bet. Other bookies often release free bets when the qualifying wager is settled. If it's free bets you want, then look no further than our dedicated free bets page Bet-type restrictions Betting offers often have restrictions on their qualifying bets. The only notable one to remember with the Sky Bet offer sign-up is that the odds of your first bet must be at least 1/1 and the stake at least 5p. At other betting sites, there can be restrictions around the type of bet you place. Free-bet restrictions There can also be rules to follow with the free bets that you receive. In this case, the only restriction is that the Sky Bet sign-up offer of £30 is delivered in the form of three £10 free bet tokens. You can then use each individual token to place a bet with £10. Wagering requirements Many betting sites require you to wager any winnings from a bonus a certain number of times before you can withdraw funds. This is particularly common with casino promotions, but it is rarer for sports betting sites and there are no such requirements to worry about with the Sky Bet sign-up offer. Check out the UK's best betting sites. Additional documentation When you register with a betting site, it has a legal obligation to confirm your identity and age. Generally this can be done through an electronic check, but if Sky Bet requires more information, it will request some personal identification such as a passport or driving licence. How does Sky Bet compare with other bookmakers? We think that Sky Bet is one of the best betting sites around, but it has plenty of quality competition. As good as the Sky Bet offer sign-up deal is, there are some other great alternatives. Take a look below at how Sky Bet compares with its rivals Betfred, bet365, Paddy Power and William Hill. Paul Potts' life now after BGT win 18 years ago as he calls for show shake-up
Paul Potts' life now after BGT win 18 years ago as he calls for show shake-up EXCLUSIVE: Paul Potts was crowned Britain's Got Talent's first ever winner back in 2007 after impressing Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan with his vocals Paul Potts won Britain's Got Talent in 2007 Eighteen years ago, mobile phone salesman Paul Potts took a life-changing leap of faith when he auditioned for Britain's Got Talent and astonished the nation. Taking to the stage in a suit and shirt at the time, he belted out his rendition of Nessun Dorma and left the three judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Piers Morgan speechless. During the feedback, Simon said Paul was "a complete breath of fresh air" and called the operatic number "absolutely fantastic". Piers confidently predicted a potential win for the tenor, while Amanda affectionately referred to him as "a little lump of coal that is going to turn into a diamond". Paul later became the ITV competition's first ever winner, after securing the highest public vote over his fellow finalist Connie Talbot. Since his victory on the show, the 54-year-old has gone from strength to strength in his singing career. His first album, One Chance, soared to the top of the UK charts upon release, and remained there for six consecutive weeks. His discography expanded over time with the addition of six more studio albums, which includes his latest record, Musica Non Proibita. Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts is still touring across various venues Paul's incredible journey was later turned into a movie named after his first album, which starred James Corden. The winner has since toured in various venues across the world, and will be making a return to the stage for a number of gigs in Germany this year. According to Paul, he is "singing better" now than he did during his initial rise to stardom. In a collaboration with Sky Vegas, he expressed: "I'm now doing what I love to do all over the world – and it's been 18 years. "In two years, it'll be 20. I still remember critics saying my voice wouldn't last a year, yet I honestly believe I'm singing better now than I ever have. "I'm incredibly grateful for the support I've had from people around the world throughout these years, and I allow myself a little pride in that." In 2019, Paul made a triumphant return to the stage on Britain's Got Talent: The Champions. His vocal performance once again wowed judges and audiences alike, though Simon claimed it was "shaky" at first. Despite giving it his all, he did not progress to the final, with the spot going to daredevil duo Bello and Annaliese Nock instead. At the time, Kseniya Simonova was also the recipient of the golden buzzer. Paul Potts was praised by the BGT judges Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell Reflecting on this year's Britain's Got Talent competition, Paul discussed his own familiarity with the "pressure" that comes with public voting, especially once the coveted golden buzzer is off the table. He remarked: "The golden buzzer works, but it has to be used live to keep the energy and excitement. "Having competed on Britain's Got Talent: The Champions, I know how it feels to perform knowing you can't get that golden buzzer because they're all gone!" "That adds a real sense of pressure, and it makes the public vote feel even more important. That's the kind of drama we want – positive drama – not the negativity that comes with red buzzers." Sharing more thoughts on the series this year, Paul said the show could benefit from welcoming KSI back as a fifth judge. The YouTube star stepped in for Simon and Bruno Tonioli at different stages of the competition, and returned as a guest judge for the semi-final last week. He shared: 'I think there is certainly a potential for him to return as a permanent judge. I have never heard of him before this year, and I probably don't travel in this circle! "There should be five judges to even things out and makes things fresh. It also means when there is a jury vote then it'll never be a draw – it has to always go one way or another.' BGT winner calls for U-turn on 'lazy' part of show after major change-up
BGT winner calls for U-turn on 'lazy' part of show after major change-up EXCLUSIVE: Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts says the change-up put in place this year "doesn't help with the diversity and range of acts" and called for a U-turn Simon Cowell reportedly 'gave the green light' to the auditions change-up Britain's Got Talent's first ever champion Paul Potts has urged the show's producers to re-evaluate their choice of auditioning exclusively in Blackpool. This season, auditions were solely filmed at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool unlike previous years where venues, such as the London Palladium, have been used. A source told TV Zone regarding the new format: "The Palladium is such an iconic venue but if you compare the shows in Blackpool to the ones they have filmed in London, the audience is way more up for it there. The auditions resume in the new year and they'll all be filmed up in Blackpool. "Boss Simon Cowell has given the green light to the move and just wants the show to be the best it can be." Paul, 54, has criticised the altered approach to the audition process, describing it as "lazy". When asked if he believes Britain is running out of talent for the show, he shared: "There's absolutely no shortage of talent in Britain, [there's] plenty of untapped potential out there. Article continues below "But the show needs to be more flexible in how it finds and selects that talent. "Just sticking to Blackpool for auditions this year felt, frankly, a bit lazy. I understand that it might have been a cost-cutting idea, even though securing the ballroom wouldn't have come cheaply, however, the limited outreach doesn't help with the diversity and range of acts," he added in association with Sky Vegas. PASADENA, CA - OCTOBER 17: Paul Potts arrives at "America's Got Talent: The Champions" Finale at Pasadena Civic Auditorium on October 17, 2018 in Pasadena, California. (Photo by) The tenor has since called for the production team to reverse their decision and "get back out on the road" to "really engage with people" and uncover "fresh, authentic talent". "And like I've said before, if they want to breathe new life into the show, let's do something bold. Make Blackpool a Vegas-style call-back round. Turn it into a proper second stage, not just a shortcut to the live shows," he continued. "That way you can really test and find the best acts." Paul added: "Britain has amazing talent – there's no question. But if we're seeing acts in the semi-finals that are getting three red buzzers, we have to ask, what are we doing? You start to risk the credibility of the show.' Tonight, the last remaining two acts will be selected for the upcoming final. Those who win the public vote and final golden buzzer will join; singers Hear Our Voice, Jasmine Rice, Stacey Leadbetter and Vinnie McKee, comedian Joseph Charm, dance group Ping Pong Pang, guitarist Olly Pearson and LED show act The Blackouts. On how he believes the final is shaping up currently, Paul warned singers about "a real risk" when it comes to song choice. "It's fairly finely balanced at this stage, but there's a real risk, as I've said before, the singers could end up cancelling each other out," he shared. "We've got a couple of crossover singers going through, but some of the repertoire decisions across the board have felt a bit off. I'm all for hearing something fresh and unexpected, songs that haven't been done to death, but it also needs to be right for the artist. It has to showcase their strengths." Article continues below Britain's Got Talent continues tonight at 7pm on ITV and ITVX.

How to register with a UK online casino and claim a bonus If you are new to using UK casino sites you may be wondering how you go about opening an account and claiming a welcome bonus. The process tends to be broadly similar, regardless of which of our recommended UK casino sites you choose to open an account with. We're going to take you through a step-by-step guide to the process, to ensure that your registration is painless and that you successfully receive your bonus. Visit one of our recommended UK casino sites from the links provided. There will be an easily noticeable call-to-action button, marked as 'Join Now', 'Sign Up' or something similar. Click on this to begin the registration process. Once on the registration form fill in your personal details such as your name, address and contact details. You may be asked to enter a promo code at some casino sites during this stage, while others will automatically enrol you. After you have entered your personal details to set up your account, most online gambling sites will be able to identify you electronically. If they cannot, they may ask for proof of your identity, such as a copy of a driving license or passport. This is to ensure that your identity is verified and to confirm your age. With your new account set up, it will be time to add some funds. Visit the banking section, choose a deposit method and how much money you want to add to your account, before confirming the transaction. Check the terms and conditions of the bonus offer, as some payment methods are ineligible with such deals. Typically, these can include payment types such as eWallets and pre-paid cards. A regular debit card is normally a safe choice. Once you have money in your account it's time for the fun part. Start betting within the online casino and again, make sure that you've looked at the terms and conditions of the welcome offer, to ensure that you comply with their requirements. Some gambling sites restrict your qualifying bet to be on a certain stated slot game, for example. The process of opening an account with one of our recommended UK casino sites may feel a bit intrusive and excessive, when compared with other transactions. Yet each step is essential to ensure that you can enjoy gambling in a safe and legal manner. Our recommended gambling sites are UK-licensed and have to comply with strict regulations that are in place to protect players. How we rank and rate UK casino bonuses You may be wondering how we go about ranking and rating the bonuses offered by the best online casinos. Here are the factors that we consider when evaluating online gambling promotions. Size and shape of bonus These are the factors that catch the eye of punters. We look at the breakdown of the offer. Some will give players a bonus sum plus some free spins, while others will only give one of those benefits. The size of the bonus on offer goes some way to influence our rankings. So 200 free spins is generally more attractive than 30, for example. Yet additional factors can make this a more complicated equation, as you will discover. Ease of qualifying requirements We look into how easy it is to receive the bonus, starting at the registration stage, which should be a simple process. Once registered, are there restrictions on deposit methods and the qualifying bets that you need to make? Many online casino sites make certain payment types ineligible with these sorts of bonus offers. They also can restrict what types of games you have to play to qualify for the bonus. Requirements and caps With bonus sums it is common for UK casino sites to set wagering requirements. This means that any winnings have to be bet a certain amount of times, before any withdrawals can be made. In this instance, the lower the figure, the better. There can also be caps on how much you can win and withdraw. This is not ideal for players, so we prefer bonuses and free spins to be free of these types of restrictions. Time matters We think that once you have met the qualifying requirements for a casino offer, you should receive the bonus immediately. We therefore penalise any gambling sites that add an unnecessary delay to this process. There are also typically time restrictions on how long you have to fulfil the qualifying requirements after registering and the time you have to use your bonus before it expires. In both instances, the longer the time, the easier it is for players. Best online casino bonuses FAQs Which is the UK's best online casino bonus? The Sky Vegas offer topped our rankings. The fact that it offered a no-deposit bonus, immediately upon signing up, swung things in its favour. There is then an additional free spins bonus to enjoy, when you deposit and bet. Which is the best bonus from a new online casino in the UK? Of the new UK casino sites we reviewed, we found that talkSPORT BET had the best bonus. You can get a total of a £40 bonus and 40 free spins when you deposit and bet £20. Can you trust online casino offers in the UK? Casino bonuses have clear terms and conditions that you can examine before signing up. Our recommended gambling sites are generally licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, which ensures they comply with regulations to protect players. How many casino bonuses can I get? There is no limit on how many casino sites you can have accounts with and claim bonuses from. We would however, recommend that you gamble responsibly and never with more money than you can comfortably afford to lose. What is the best type of online casino bonus? The best online casino offers are often free spins. There are rarely any wagering requirements on them or caps on winnings. Bonus sums often have hefty wagering requirements that make it nearly impossible to come away with any winnings.
