New Twix Flavor Fans ‘Have Been Waiting For' Finally Gets Release Date

New details on a highly-anticipated new Twix flavor have officially been unwrapped. For what feels like forever, consumers have been teased and taunted by the arrival of what the brand called the "flavor fans have been waiting for," Twix Snickerdoodle. Now, about a week after the most recent hint that the new treat would be heading to stores, Parade finally has all the official info. Twix Snickerdoodle, if you couldn't already guess, is "inspired by the warm, cinnamon-sugar goodness" and "deep well of nostalgia" of a classic Snickerdoodle cookie. It features everything fans know and love about Twix candy–the crunchy cookie, gooey caramel and sweet milk chocolate–just with the "leveled up" and "bold" twist of cinnamon and sugar-flavored caramel. It follows the release of another cookie-inspired flavor that joined the Mars brand's subline in December 2022, Twix Cookie Dough. Related: New Snickers Flavor Is 'A Game Changer,' According to Fans Parade was able to get a sample of the treat ahead of its nationwide release and it's exactly as described. The Snickerdoodle flavor isn't subtle at all, with cinnamon detected upon the first bite. We found it quite interesting that Twix opted to make the caramel cinnamon-flavored (versus just a Snickerdoodle cookie). It's a rather unexpected twist that enhances the presence of the warm, zesty spice, leaving absolutely no doubt about what this Twix was inspired by! "Because TWIX is the iconic brand of two, we're always looking for ways to double down on flavor," Mars Wrigley North America's vice president of marketing, Martin Terwilliger, shared in a statement. "TWIX Snickerdoodle gives fans a new twist on the layers they already love. It's the perfect balance of familiar and trendy flavors, and we know it's going to be a fan favorite." Twix Snickerdoodle is expected to hit shelves nationwide this July in a single serving (1.4 ounces) and a Share Size (2.8 ounces), according to an official announcement. Shoppers should be able to find it in most convenience and grocery stores nationwide in the coming weeks, near the brand's other current offers, which include its original Twix Caramel, a Salted Caramel spinoff, a Cookies & Creme flavor and its hit Cookie Dough variety.
