3Arena issue stark warning ahead of Billie Eilish
Some fans have reportedly already started to linger outside the 3Arena ahead of Billie Eilish's concerts in the capital this weekend. In the era of the *ahem* 'passionate' fan, camping outside of ticket offices to ensure that you get the chance to see your favourite artist has come and gone due to online Ticketmaster wars taking over. But while showing up in the wee hours of the morning of the concert to ensure you get the best view is nothing necessarily new, some fans have taken it to the next level, bringing literal camping supplies and showing up several days early to make sure that they're first in line. With Billie Eilish bringing her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour to Dublin this weekend, some fans have already begun spending their time outside of the 3Arena to try and get to be the first in line — something that has proven divisive over the last few dates of the Bad Guy singer's tour. For those who may be chancing their arm by showing up a few days early, the 3Arena have since told fans that they will not be permitted to camp outside the arena early — and any fan made 'queueing' system will be null and void, as the arena will be giving wristbands to the first few people who show up on the day of their respective concert. Billie Eilish is bringing her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour to Dublin's 3Arena this weekend. Pic:for iHeartRadio 'We do not permit camping or early queuing days prior to any show here,' the 3Arena said in a statement. 'This is a safety issue for the venue, surrounding businesses, staff and the customer themselves. Security will ask customers to leave the area and return to their respective accommodation. Please have respect for the area and the implications on the environment. 'We, 3Arena security will hand out a *limited* amount of numbered wristbands on the morning of the shows – but not before it. This will be from 7am. Any other numbering systems put in place by customers are not valid – regardless of what social media and eager superfans are putting out to the public.' 'Please be patient and respectful towards the venue, the tour, our staff, including surrounding businesses, residents, and neighbours in the area. Camping at the 3Arena is strictly forbidden. Pic: Getty Images 'We will not tolerate any customers becoming aggressive to either our security or other customers attending the show during the next few days. Anyone found to be in breach of our venue policy will be refused entry by our security. Remember, you all purchased a ticket to the same show. Be kind and respectful to each other. 'Customers can bring reusable water bottles into the venue provided they are neither glass nor metal!' The Manchester stop of Billie's tour saw the most controversy; with people who were entering the line into the Co-Op arena seeing discarded food waste and empty water bottles, and some claiming that the smell of some of the fans who'd been there for a number of days was grim (their words, not ours!) The behaviour of some of the fans also caused controversy, with one user taking to TikTok to say that fans who were 'running' the 'line' in Manchester were 'rude to loads of people who didn't agree with your camping/wristband thing, screamed in a lady's face' and 'acted like security.' The 3Arena have also said on their website that for any gig, camping is strictly forbidden, with queuing only being allowed from 7am on the morning of the event. Billie Eilish's Hit Me Hard and Soft tour comes to Dublin on Saturday (July 26) and Sunday (July 27).

Nasty C's new adventure: Exploring everyday jobs beyond music
Nasty C embarks on a labour journey, going from mechanic to barber. Image: Instagram Rapper Nasty C is switching things up by trading in his mic for a toolbox. The artist, known for his top-charting hits, has embarked on a new project where he is exploring everyday jobs to gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to be a hardworking individual. In a recent Instagram Reel (video) captioned: 'This was fun! What job should I do next?' Nasty C shared that he will be embarking on a mission of trying out different work spaces to get a sense of what normal people go through at their day to day jobs as part of a new series. 'What's up, guys? So, I'm gonna be doing this thing for a couple of days where I go to a lot of people's different workspaces to get a sense of what people's version of working hard looks like. 'I'm a musician, you guys know what my version of working hard looks like. It's late hours, it's studio time, it's shoots and all that kinda stuff,' he says in the video. 'I wanna get a sense of what normal people go through at work,' he adds. In the video, the rapper is seen actively working at a panel beater on a client's car, fixing the car's wheel alignment. The 'Black And White' hitmaker is calling on his fans to suggest other jobs he should try out and employers to hire him. Nasty C's fans are excited about the project, with many suggesting jobs ranging from Shoprite cashier to e-hailing driver. The comments section is filled with enthusiastic responses from his fans eager to see what other professions the rapper will take on as they suggest different jobs. Instagram user @wothi_mthiyane commented: "DM me, I'll take you to a mining site for environmental inspections." While @luckyred504 suggested: 'I work at McDonald's, It would surely be nice to see you laying patties on the grill or assembling burgers like a 'Big Mac' 😀👏.' In episode two of his series, the next stop for the rapper is the barber shop. In his latest video which he shared on YouTube, he is seen gearing up to give a client a haircut working as a barber. Interestingly, this series of job explorations could potentially be incorporated into a music video for his recent single 'Soft', which speaks to the idea of working hard and being paid enough to live comfortably. The song's themes of hard work and dedication align perfectly with Nasty C's latest offering and fans are speculating that the series could contribute to a visually pleasing music video that showcases the rapper portraying his experiences of various professions. This is not the first time Nasty C has involved his fans in his creative process. The 28-year-old rapper has always had an unconventional approach to his music. In March, he handed over the reins to his fans from all across Africa, allowing them to decide on potential tour stops for the 'Ivyson' tour Africa. Prior to that, he also asked students to nominate their universities for a special show, further blurring the lines between artist and fan. Nasty C's approach to music and fan engagement is refreshingly different from the norm, and his fans and industry peers agree. Rapper Kid X also commented under Nasty C's post, stating that Nasty C has 'always been different". He has never been one to conform to traditional rapper stereotypes but instead forges his own path and constantly reinvents himself.

NHS urges Tesco shoppers to read important life saving labels in store
The warning comes amid a new collaboration between the NHS and the supermarket giant on Tesco's own brand Luxury Soft toilet rolls. The NHS is encouraging Tesco shoppers to 'keep an eye out' and 'contact your GP practice if something doesn't feel right'. This health warning has been issued as Tesco's own brand-Luxury Soft toilet rolls now feature the NHS logo on the packaging. The collaboration between the NHS and the supermarket giant has been established to increase awareness surrounding bowel cancer among consumers. An NHS post on X, formerly known as Twitter, reads: "Keep an eye out for our logo on @Tesco toilet roll-78.9 million rolls sold and counting!" The initiative serves as a reminder for people to be aware of potential cancer symptoms when going to the bathroom. The NHS emphasises: "It's a reminder for people to look out for possible signs of cancer when going to the loo. Know what's normal for you and contact your GP practice if something doesn't feel right." Printed underneath the NHS logo on the toilet roll is the note: "Finding cancer earlier makes it more treatable and can save lives." Further details are provided on the back of the pack. The packaging also lists warning signs of cancer that may be visible during toilets visits like alterations in stool and the presence of blood. For more detailed information on cancer symptoms, the public is advised to visit the NHS website here. Symptoms of bowel cancer: changes in your stool, such as having softer stool, diarrhoea or constipation that is not usual for you needing to go to the toilet more or less often than usual for you blood in your stool, which may look red or black bleeding from your bottom often feeling like you need to empty your bowels, even if you've just been to the toilet tummy pain a lump in your tummy bloating losing weight without trying feeling very tired or short of breath – these are signs of anaemia, which can be caused by bowel cancer Many of these symptoms can be quite common and may also arise from various other health conditions. Experiencing these symptoms does not necessarily mean that you have cancer but it is essential you consult a GP for a check-up if you notice anything abnormal. If cancer is the cause behind your symptoms, early detection may make treatment more manageable. If anyone experiences symptoms of bowel cancer for three weeks or more, they should speak to a medical professional. The NHS reassures: "Try not to be embarrassed. The doctor or nurse will be used to talking about these symptoms. "If you notice your poo is black or dark red, or if you're experiencing bloody diarrhoea, it's crucial to seek an urgent GP appointment or get assistance from NHS 111. You can reach out by calling 111 or using the online help available at 111." Cancer can come in over 200 different forms and can affect any part of the body, including organs, blood, bone marrow, and the immune system. Sometimes, cancer can spread from its original site to other parts of the body, a process known as secondary cancer or metastasis. The type of cancer you have will determine the treatment you receive. Common cancer treatments include surgery to remove the tumour, chemotherapy with drugs that destroy cancer cells, and radiotherapy that uses radiation to target and kill cancer cells. Other treatment options might involve immunotherapy, which boosts your immune system to fight cancer, and hormone therapy, which aims to slow down or stop the growth of cancerous cells. The NHS assures patients: "You'll be looked after by a team of specialists who will work with you to create a treatment plan that is best for you."
