Centre grants citizenship to Bitan's widow

Kolkata: Soheni Adhikari , the wife of IT employee Bitan Adhikari who was killed by terrorists at Pahalgam, was granted Indian citizenship by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). This was confirmed by central minister and Bengal BJP president Sukanta Majumdar through his X handle on the widow of Florida-based techie and Patuli resident Bitan, who was among the 26 killed in a terror attack at Pahalgam in Kashmir on April 22, said that she was too sick and not in the right frame of mind to comment on the India-Pakistan ceasefire agreement. "I am too sick and not in the right frame of mind to comment on such developments.
