Ninja's Creami is one of the most popular ice cream makers on the market, with various models to choose from. Another customer said: "This is a great little ice cream machine. Goes together easily and is simple to wash. Ice cream maker with glowing reviews less than £30 in Prime deal

Cuisinart's Solo Scoop's ice cream maker usually retails at £39.99 for its compact model, but in the Prime Day sales it's got £10 off With a looming heatwave, many of us are after easy, healthy snacks that'll help keep us cool and satiated in the summer sunshine - without spending too much money at the supermarket. Luckily, Amazon's Prime Days (which are running from July 8 to July 11) are in full swing and one deal that we've spotted is an ice cream maker that can make one tub of delicious gelato, sorbet, frozen yoghurt and other frozen delicacies for less than £30. Costing the price of a good few lollies from the local ice cream van, the Cuisinart Solo Scoops Ice Cream Maker usually retails at £39.99 but in the shopping giant's annual summer sale, it's on sale for £29.99. For those who don't have Amazon Prime (which is how to access the best prices) or who have missed Amazon's price, the brand has its own sale running in which th e Solo Scoops maker is also £29.99. The Solo Scoops machine can make enough for up to eight portions - the perfect amount for any upcoming dinner party - in its space-efficient 475ml churning bowl, which is small enough to fit in most freezers. The ice cream maker allows its users to create a range of varying flavours and products to the taste of the user - this also means that those who can't usually eat dairy ice may be able to attempt to make vegan alternatives with dairy-free milk to enjoy the indulgence just as much as the rest of us. It's also relatively quick to make too - so long as the churning bowl has been pre-frozen overnight. Once it has, add whichever ingredients are needed to make the ice cream and let the machine work its magic. Within 25 minutes, shoppers will have an indulgent bowl of ice cream. Costing less than £30, it's a pretty nifty deal that rivals the likes of Ninja's CREAMi Ice Cream & Frozen Dessert Maker , now on sale for £169 down from £224.98 and Lakeland's own Digital Ice Cream Maker 1.8L , £39.99 down from £49.99. Ninja's machine does have more tubs (seven to be precise) and is made with Creamify Technology to help transform any frozen bases into a creamy treat. It's also got a Mix-In setting which allows users to evenly distribute their chosen additions like chocolate chips, sweets, nuts and more. Meanwhile, Lakeland's device is much simpler (mirrored in the price). At 1.8L it's larger than the Solo Scoops (although that may mean it won't fit in a freezer). It takes 40 minutes to create the perfect creamy treat and also features a transparent lid to watch the process. Also the Solo Scoops quick, efficient and relatively mess free small gadget has certainly earnt some points with shoppers who love its 'compact' style and 'easy to use' make-up. With a 4.4 star rating from over 1,000 glowing reviews, the Amazon product is hailed as a ' great little ice cream maker' that makes the 'Best ice cream I've ever had'. One person shared their experience with the machine and raved: 'Excellent product for small portions of creamy ice cream. Inexpensive. Made first batch (3 individual portions) of vanilla with roasted cashew nuts ice cream using recipe included for vanilla ice cream. Result was decadent and delicious.' They did reflect on one slight issue: 'Of course, I forgot the machine does not stop automatically and so it went on churning for 40 mins!' Although they concluded: 'Easy to use - the noise of the machine did not bother me as I wasn't standing over it. At £39.99 it's a bargain and produces treat after treat of homemade goodies.' A self-confessed 'ice cream addict' added: 'This is so easy to use and I love that. It made delicious Vanilla from the pod, with fresh strawberry pulp ice cream. It took maybe 45 minutes to make it, and the machine is fairly quiet. The cream once in the freezer is soft for 2-3 days and then it takes on the texture like shop bought ice cream at about 4 days. It also tastes less sweet at that time too, but still delicious. As an ice cream addict, I'm very pleased with my purchase.' On Cuisinart's website, the machine has a higher 4.7 star rating with shoppers declaring: 'This ice cream maker is amazing. I love that. It is so easy to use and so easy to set up. It makes the perfect amount at 1 pint. It's so easy to clean and so quick. It has been a game changer and my kids love fresh ice cream.' Although not everyone was quite so impressed with a number of people commenting on how noisy it is. One person said: 'Works absolutely fine, ice cream lovely, three stars because it's so noisy.' Another remarked: 'The machine is quite noisy and there is only 1 speed.' Although for the most part, this could be overlooked in favour of the quality of ice cream the machine produces.
