Want to watch ex-Kentucky basketball players, coaches in Men's March Madness? Here's how
LEXINGTON — A number of former Kentucky basketball players and coaches will participate in this year's NCAA Tournament.
Not surprisingly, the overwhelming majority of ex-Wildcats are concentrated on one team elsewhere in the SEC.
Note that this list does not include four players who initially were part of UK's 2024 recruiting class — Somto Cyril, Boogie Fland, Karter Knox and Billy Richmond — but were released from their letters of intent after John Calipari left Lexington to become Arkansas' coach.
Fland, Knox and Richmond joined the Razorbacks, while Cyril signed with Georgia, which plays Gonzaga in Wichita, Kansas, on Thursday.
Here's a look ex-Kentucky players and coaches who will appear in March Madness this year:
Time at UK: One season (2020-21)
Current stats: 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds in 4.3 minutes per game (11 appearances, no starts)
Xavier's 2024-25 record: 21-11 (13-7 Big East)
