Sophia Webster teams up with Waitrose to launch the ultimate summer tote bag

British designer Sophia Webster has teamed up with Waitrose to launch the ultimate 'bag for life' tote bag that captures the designers signature style whilst still being practical If you've ever looked at your grocery bag for life and thought 'I wish it was a bit more fashionable' then the new Sophia Webster X Waitrose Tote Bag is for you. The renowned British designer has teamed up with the John Lewis-owned supermarket chain to give your reusable shopping bag a more whimsical and fun look. Available for £12, you can get your hands on the Tote Bag both online and in Waitrose branches across the country from today (June 30). As well as bringing a little more joy to your shopping trip, it's also the perfect way to get your hands on one of Sophia Webster's luxury designs for less, with her regular tote bags retailing for around £450 and her shoes being worn by the likes of Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Rihanna. Launched under the tagline 'Good things come to those who Waitrose', the bag is a signature Sophia Webster design, full of bold colours and flirty, whimsical prints. It features an exclusive butterfly polka dot print in a bright pink and red colourway, and even features a 3D butterfly charm that nails this summer's bag charm trend. Speaking of the collection, Sophia said: "I wanted to create a bag that would bring a smile to its wearer on a daily basis and elevate ordinary moments - whether that's a grocery shop, a walk to the gym, the beach or the school run. I'm a huge fan of Waitrose and was absolutely delighted to partner on this creative moment.' Apart from looking great, the Sophia Webster X Waitrose Tote Bag is wildly practical. It has contrasting navy straps that give you both over-the-shoulder and handheld options, and has a sturdy, solid build that should ensure you can carry all your heavy shopping in it. It's also made from recycled plastic bottles, keeping it sustainable and giving it a wipe clean finish that's perfect for those unexpected spills. We've also found some great alternatives if you want something that's a little more tote bag, and a little less bag for life. This Lily & Bean Ziggy Canvas Tote is on sale down from £145 to £75 and can be personalised with a name or initials of your choice. We also love this striped DM Canvas Tote from Damson Madder for £38, which is just as good for taking to the beach as it is for putting your shopping in. Alternatively, this Black Toast Small Recycled Shopper Bag from Emma Bridgewater is only £5.20 (down from £6.50) and features a large slogan reading 'It's in the bag.' However if you want to get your hands on a designer bag for less, you can pick up the Sophia Webster X Waitrose Tote Bag for £12 at and in Waitrose stores now.
