She's just like us! Makeup free Sophie Monk gets windswept as she catches a bus with her rarely-seen husband Joshua Gross in Brisbane
Sophie Monk proved she was just like the rest of us on Wednesday when she was spotted using public transport in Brisbane. The Love Island Australia host, 45, boarded a bus with her husband Joshua Gross. The reality star sipped on a hot beverage in a takeaway cup as she walked side by side with her marketing head honcho beau. Makeup free, she revealed her rosy cold cheeks as the wind blew in her face. Sophie donned some big-named labels for the outing, draping a $4,250 Balenciaga Le City bag over her shoulder and sporting a pair of white Alexander McQueen sneakers, which retail for nearly $1,000, on her feet. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. A thigh-length neutral-toned rain jacket, fitted with a cinched waist and a hood, shielded the star from the wind during her stroll. She finished off the laidback fit with skinny jeans and grey ankle socks. As for accessories, she wore dainty silver bracelets on her wrist and pearl stud earrings, before chucking on a pair of sunglasses as she hopped on the bus. Her partner also opted for an off-duty fit, wearing a black zip-up hoodie over a white T-shirt. Matching his wife in a pair of blue jeans, Joshua wore white sneakers and a white cap for the windy outing. He also carried a large black Louis Vuitton bag over his shoulder while also nursing a warm beverage in the cold weather. Joshua rocked his signature mustache and a little bit of stubble on his chin. Sophie and Joshua wed in a private ceremony at their Central Coast, NSW home in 2022. Speaking to Stellar Magazine, Sophie called the small wedding 'so beautiful and relaxed'. She added that she chose to have a wedding at home to keep things 'stress-free' while Joshua called their private home 'our sanctuary' and was glad to make wedding memories that will last a lifetime there. Another reason they chose to have a wedding on their own was because Sophie was happy to keep the guest list to a bare minimum. 'We figured, if you don't invite one person, then no-one could get upset,' she told Stellar. She designed her own dress, and gave J'Aton Couture just two weeks to create it based off her own sketches. Joshua proposed on Christmas Day the year before, but they waited until January to announce their happy news. The couple first met on a flight from Europe to Australia in August 2018 and shared a kiss after enjoying 'three champagnes' in business class.

From an inflatable water park course to swimming, canoeing, fishing, and even raft building, there is no shortage of activities away from the social media screens. Other activities could include orienteering, obstacle courses, damper making, survival shelter building, and mini golf. Sophie Monk says what everyone's thinking about Hugh Jackman's telling swipe at ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness amid divorce drama
Sophie Monk has weighed in on the Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness divorce drama. After Deborra-Lee, 69, officially filed for divorce from Hugh, 56, this week, the Greatest Showman star took a very telling swipe on social media on Wednesday. He shared a clip of him skipping on stage to the sounds of NSYNC's Bye Bye Bye with the simple caption, 'finally,' in what appeared to be a pointed reference to the divorce drama. Sophie, who is filling in for Jackie 'O' Henderson on the Kyle & Jackie O show, was discussing the drama with Kyle Sandilands on Thursday morning. The Bachelorette star, 45, admitted to feeling some empathy for Hugh, noting that any public post by a celebrity during a public drama cycle can inadvertently fan the flames. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'I just feel like I'm paranoid all the time if there's something in the press, not to provoke it,' she said. Her Zombie Plane co-star Kyle admitted to feeling the exact opposite, saying he loved stoking the drama fires. 'I'm the exact opposite,' he said. 'I read it out, argue it, dispute it, threaten people.' Sophie continued admitting that she is loathe to start or exacerbate any form of drama. 'Yeah, but you don't mind confrontation, she said. 'I hate it - it's my worst fear. 'I would just think you would think it through though,' she added, referring to Hugh's apparently ill-timed post. Kyle then suggested that it potentially wasn't Hugh at all that shared the post, but rather his newly minted girlfriend Sutton Foster, 50. 'Maybe the new missus made him write it,' Kyle offered. It doesn't feel like it was Hugh inspired.' He shared a clip of him skipping on stage to the sounds of NSYNC's Bye Bye Bye with the simple caption, 'finally,' in what appeared to be a pointed reference to the divorce drama Sophie then suggested that it may've been Hugh's pal Hollywood A-lister Ryan Reynolds behind the post, which Kyle suggested Ryan and wife Blake Liveley's current legal woes have them otherwise occupied. 'I think Blake and Ryan have lost all their friends over the carry-on,' he said. Hugh's video, which was posted to his 34.1 million followers, is clearly a reference to Deadpool & Wolverine, the 2024 flick that he filmed with Ryan Reynolds which features the NSYNC track. The Greatest Showman star, 56, took to Instagram on Wednesday to post a clip of him nailing a skipping routine in his show Hugh Jackman Live From New York With Love, which he's performing at Radio City Music Hall. However, it was the clip's chosen background track that raised eyebrows considering the recent divorce developments. However the timing of the post - as well as its one word caption - made it all the more cryptic. 'Finally,' he captioned the video, alluding to the length of time it took to nail the routine. The video was posted the same day that Deborra-Lee took a swipe at her estranged husband amid the flurry of rumours that he cheated on her with his current girlfriend Sutton Foster. Following her decision to officially file for divorce from the Les Miserables star two years after announcing their separation, the Australian actress, 69, addressed her heartbreak in an exclusive statement to 'My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal,' she said. 'It's a profound wound that cuts deep, however I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us.' She continued, 'This belief has helped me navigate the breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage. I have gained much knowledge and wisdom through this experience. Even when we are presented with apparent adversity, it is leading us to our greatest good, our true purpose. 'It can hurt, but in the long run, returning to yourself and living within your own integrity, values and boundaries is liberation and freedom.' She concluded her statement with the 'one thing' that she has learned, which is 'that none of this is personal,' adding, 'We are all on our individual journeys and I believe that the relationships in our lives are not random. 'We are drawn to people, we invite them in, in order to learn our lessons and to recognize and heal the broken parts of ourselves...I remain grateful.' Deborra-Lee and Hugh announced the end of their marriage in a shock statement in September 2023, telling fans that they were 'shifting' and as a result had decided to 'separate to pursue our individual growth.' They were married in Melbourne, Australia, in April 1996 before adopting their son Oscar, now 24, in 2000. Five years later they completed their family unit when they adopted daughter Ava, 19.
