Gone are the days when sun cream, shorts, t-shirts and a good book were all that was needed when jetting off into the sun for a well earned holiday.
It's 2025 and one of the most relaxing things to do while on holiday is listening to music or a podcast by the pool as the sun beats down.
Amazon has slashed the price of Soundcore by Anker Space Q45 Adaptive Noise Cancelling Headphones by 13 per cent and they are selling fast. The headphones are currently retailing for €119.90.
The headphones are described on the website as reducing the amount of external noise "from plane engines to crying babies" by 98 per cent.
Remarkably, the Soundcore by Anker Space Q45 Adaptive Noise Cancelling Headphones have received more than 10,000 reviews on and currently enjoy an average 4.3 stars out of five. One five star reviewer who recently purchased a set of the earphones said they rivalled Apple's AirPods.
"Great price, performance ratio. Easy equalizer settings make the sound fit your taste. The most surprising thing was the transparency mode. I dare say, it matched the transparency modes of best on market Sony XMs and even AirPods. Overall, very much satisfied with the headphones."
Another satisfied customer who left a five star review said: "I bought a Soundcore Space Q45 headphones about a year and a half ago. Overall, I was very satisfied: excellent noise reduction, impressive battery life, top comfort. It was clearly one of the best in this price range."

A minority of customers weren't as forthcoming with positive reviews. One dissatisfied customer wrote: "This is my first time being this extremely disappointed in an Anker product. For its Price bracket , the plastic quality of these headphones is embarrassing."
