From northern plains to southern coasts, several regions are witnessing persistent rainfall, creating humid and overcast conditions while disrupting normal life and travel plans. Arunachal Pradesh has been placed on alert as very heavy rain is forecast for Anjaw, East Kameng, Pakke Kessang, and Papum Pare, with Kurung Kumey expected to witness heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.
