Investigation launched after lorry crashes on M20 in Kent
Police say they are investigating a "serious collision" on the M20. Kent Police said it was called shortly after 15:15 BST on Thursday to the incident on the junction nine slip road of the M20 coastbound.A lorry had left the carriageway, the force said. Eastbound between J8 and J9 on the M20, which runs between Ashford and Maidstone, was closed until just before 04:00 BST on Friday, according to National Highways. South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire & Rescue Service attended the scene. Kent Police appealed for anyone who witnessed or has dashcam footage of the crash to get in contact.

Two injured in alleged power surge explosion in Horley
Two people have been injured in an alleged explosion caused by an underground power surge in services were called to reports of an explosion in Cranbourne Close, in Horley, at about 22:15 BST on person was taken to hospital for treatment for second degree burns, while paramedics treated another person at the Power Networks said it was working to restore power to a number of homes in the area after a power cut caused by the surge. Surrey Police appeal after crash leaves driver in hospital
An appeal has been launched after a woman in her 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a three-vehicle crash in said the crash happened in Crooksbury Road in Tilford at about 08:00 BST on Monday. Teenager dead and another in hospital after A25 crash in Guildford
An 18-year-old man has died and another is in a serious condition following a crash in are appealing for witnesses to the single-vehicle crash which happened at 23:20 BST on the A25 Woodbridge Road, Guildford on East Coast Ambulance Service attended and one of the teenagers was pronounced dead at the scene and the second was taken to hospital in a serious the road had been closed between the junction with Walnut Tree Close and the Dennis roundabout, Surrey Police said it had since reopened.

Gravesend grandmother thanks staff for 'second chance at life'
A grandmother has said she was given "a second chance at life" after call handlers talked her husband and grandson through CPR when she fell Nevell, 67, suffered a cardiac arrest at her Gravesend home in November, just hours after returning from a work Christmas dinner in was reunited with the South East Coast Ambulance (Secamb) team who helped save her but said she remembered nothing from the day when she husband of 17 years, Pip, and her grandson, immediately started CPR under the guidance of 999 call handler Niamh Capeling, a spokesperson said. Mrs Nevell said: "I wouldn't be here today without my incredible husband, grandson, the 999-call handler who guided them, and the amazing ambulance crew. "I can't thank them enough for everything they did to give me a second chance at life."The Secamb team worked "tirelessly" to restart Mrs Nevell's heart before she was taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, where she later suffered two heart attacks. She spent two weeks in a coma and a total of 10 weeks in hospital before being well enough to return home. 'Quick actions' She and her husband visited Dartford ambulance station to thank the Secamb colleagues who helped to save her Capeling said: "Linda's family's quick actions made all the difference that night. "It's wonderful to see Linda looking so well and it reminds us all why we do this job."Paramedic Kelly Hassett described Mrs Nevell as "a miracle" and "a fantastic woman".The couple, who are both freemasons, have organised CPR and defibrillator training at their Kent lodges.
