South Salt Lake Police searching for missing, endangered 12-year-old

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah () — The South Salt Lake Police Department is asking the public's help in locating a missing and endangered 12-year-old girl. Police say Brianna Xinol left her home in the 2500 block of South Main Street, located near Woodrow Wilson Elementary. Brianna is listed as five feet tall with black hair and brown eyes and weighs about 80 pounds. She was last seen wearing a purple jacket, red long sleeve shirt, jean shorts and gray shoes. Anyone with information is asked to call the South Salt Lake Police Department at 801-840-4000 and reference case number LK2025-15704. This is a developing story. SOUTH SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4) — South Salt Lake Police are seeking a person of interest in a homicide investigation that began late Saturday night. Police are currently searching for Salman Ahmed, 21. He is described as '40 lbs, with black hair styled in short dreadlocks, brown eyes, and a dark skin tone,' a press release from South Salt Lake Police states. He is reportedly a person of interest in an investigation into a homicide that occurred on April 26 at 11:40 p.m. near the 2500 South block of 400 East. SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC4) — A 65-year-old man has been reported missing out of South Salt Lake, according to South Salt Lake Police. At around 4:30 p.m. on March 15, Allen David Johnson, 65, reportedly voluntarily checked himself out of a medical rehabilitation facility in the area of 450 East 2700 South in South Salt Lake. LDS Church announces General Conference dates and time schedule Johnson told staff at the facility that he was going to visit 'an unknown relative at an unknown hospital,' a statement from South Salt Lake Police reads. '[Johnson] does not have a cell phone or vehicle that he uses for transportation purposes.' Johnson is described as a White male, 5'9″, 180 lbs, with gray hair and hazel eyes. His clothing at the time of disappearance is unknown, police said.
