How to watch the Southeast Asian Games Showcase at Summer Game Fest 2025
We're expecting a ton of AAA and indie game announcements during Summer Game Fest 2025, but the Southeast Asian Games Showcase will highlight the best games coming out of the region. The event will offer some exclusive reveals, new trailers and update announcements on more than 45 titles from Southeast Asian game developers. You can catch all the news through the YouTube livestream, which will start Saturday, June 7 at 3PM ET. The showcase teased some updates with Polychroma Games' Until Then , a narrative adventure game set in a fictional Filipino city, Bit Egg's Lost & Found Co. , a quirky hidden object game, and kopiforge's SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure that's equal parts co-op cooking and combat. Right before the Southeast Asian Games Showcase, you'll be able to catch the Latin American Games Showcase at 2PM ET and the Women-Led Games Showcase at 1PM ET, both on June 7. Events like the Southeast Asian Games Showcase and Indie Jam help amplify these titles – alongside the efforts of local gaming media. Short beats The Southeast Asian Games Showcase is partnering with Summer Game Fest to bring Southeast Asian games to a global audience. Developers can sign up here to be featured. The third edition of Indie Jam will take place at Xsolla Curine Academy, KL Eco City, on April 26 – 27, showcasing Southeast Asian games. Football star Cristiano Ronaldo will be a playable character in the upcoming 2D fighting game Fatal Fury: City of Wolves (main image). Path of Exile 2, the action RPG from Grinding Gear Games, is getting a major update – Dawn of the Hunt – on April 5. It adds a new class, new Ascendancies, 100+ Unique Items, and more endgame content. The long-delayed first-person RPG Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 now has a release date – October 2025. After six years, Square Enix is shutting down its mobile strategy RPG War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. The game will be removed from app stores – and servers shut down – on May 29. Capcom will launch a merchandise pop-up store in Malaysia – with more details to be announced in the coming months. Nintendo's Nintendo Direct livestream on March 27 featured announcements including a Dragon Quest I & II remake, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond, and Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. Op-eds We spoke with Path of Exile 2 director Jonathan Rogers about the Dawn of the Hunt update – and got his thoughts on the 'Skip Campaign' feature in action RPGs. Games out this week Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark – A 2D search-action game from Inti Creates. Play as two weapon-wielding maids restoring their Demon Lord's power in a fantasy world filled with monsters and anime tropes. AI LIMIT – A sci-fi action RPG where you control an anime-style protagonist fighting off futuristic monstrosities. Inspired by Dark Souls, the game features stamina-based combat, brutal difficulty, and epic boss fights. The First Berserker: Khazan – A dark fantasy action RPG and spin-off of the Dungeon & Fighter MMO. Play as Khazan, seeking revenge against noblemen who wronged him – battling large-scale bosses with powerful weapons and raw berserker abilities. Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme – A sports and simulation game featuring the Dead or Alive cast. Clothing options are… flexible.
