Hip-hop duo EarthGang have an AI strategy: Be more human
EarthGang had been exploring the intergalactic world of Southern hip-hop for more than a decade when the duo released its 'EarthGang vs. the Algorithm: RIP Human Art' EP in 2023. Two years on, as the rest of the world has caught up with algorithms and artificial intelligence and their effects on art, the Atlanta-based act, composed of musical partners Dot and Olu, is taking the long view on the technology.
