BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police are searching for a female suspect in a robbery that left a man with multiple stab wounds in Brooklyn on Saturday. Police received a report on Saturday that a 40-year-old man was stabbed four times on the left side of his body at around 7:10 a.m. near Belmont Avenue and Georgia Avenue. More Local News The woman then attempted to grab money out of the man's pockets before fleeing in a black SUV, officials said. The man was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his wounds. The woman was last seen wearing a tan tank top and tan skirt, according to police. No. 7 train service was partially suspended from Queensboro Plaza to Grand Central-42nd St while emergency crews responded to the area. More Local News The man, believed to be in his 50s, suffered severe head and body trauma. He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities. Flash flood warnings in New Jersey: Here's where

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The National Weather Service has issued flash flood warnings in multiple New Jersey counties. Thunderstorms and heavy rains are expected Sunday evening, which caused ground stops at all three major New York City airports. Ground stops at Newark, JFK, LaGuardia due to thunderstorms Union, Richmond, Essex and Hudson counties are all under flash flood warnings until 9:15 p.m., according to the NWS. NWS Doppler radar indicated heavy rainfall across the areas. Anywhere between 0.75 inches and 1.25 inches are expected within the hour, leaving highways, streets and low-lying areas vulnerable to flooding. The NWS encourages all to stay safe if you are driving in these areas. 'Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles,' the warning reads. NEW YORK (PIX11) — The New York Yankees have traded for reliever Camilo Doval just before the clock struck 6 p.m. EST on the MLB trade deadline. The deal was reported minutes before the deadline hit on Thursday for the All-Star closer of the San Francisco Giants. Yankees add Jake Bird from Colorado as another bullpen arm Doval, 28, has a career 3.29 ERA in 268 career innings pitched for the Giants. In 47 appearances in 2025, Doval has collected 15 saves and 50 strikeouts. To acquire Doval, the Yankees gave up Trystan Vrieling, Jesus Rodriguez, Parks Harber and Carlos De La Rosa. Vrieling, New York's No. 20 prospect on is a right-handed pitcher who has made 12 starts for Double-A Somerset, pitching to a 4.36 ERA in 2025. Rodriguez, a 23-year-old catcher with Triple-A Scranton-Wilkes-Barre, has played in the Yankees organization for seven years and amassed a career .395 OBP. Harber, 23, has seven home runs and a .305 batting average with the High-A Hudson Valley Rangers. De La Rosa is 17 years old and is pitching in the Dominican Summer League.
