Community garden revival for Ngwelezana Clinic
A heart-warming community-driven initiative has breathed new life into the vegetable garden at Ngwelezana Clinic.
Nolwayz Agric Farming joined forces with Mthembu Agri, Gr8 Initiatives, and the Green Chapter Foundation – with support by Net Nine Nine in partnership with Ward 28 Cllr Sphelele 'Wiwi' Gumede.

The project included donating essential gardening tools and a variety of vegetable seedlings such as cabbage, spinach, beetroot, green pepper and lettuce.
This aims to create a sustainable source of fresh produce for clinic patients, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds who struggle to access a healthy, balanced diet.
Led by Nolwazi Manana of Nolwayz Nursery, the initiative is rooted in a vision to fight food insecurity and promote community health through agriculture.
The project was met with enthusiasm from clinic staff and local volunteers, who rolled up their sleeves and worked together to plant the new seedlings.
Smiles and spirit filled the garden as hope took root – literally and figuratively.
