Tom Holland, Zendaya's Wedding Gets Delayed Amid Work Commitments

Last Updated: As Tom Holland and Zendaya get occupied with new projects, it is becoming more difficult for them to align their personal commitments. There's no secret that Hollywood's one of the most talked about couples, Tom Holland and Zendaya, are deeply in love, but fans have to wait a little longer till they witness their favourite couple getting married. Zendaya's hectic work schedules and Tom's shootings along with his new business venture, are making it difficult for the couple to set a wedding date this year. According to a Radar Online report, a source claimed that Tom and Zendaya's wedding plans are currently on hold due to their demanding work schedules. On one hand, Zendaya is shooting for upcoming films and is busy with endorsement projects, while Tom is focused on promoting his zero-alcohol beer brand. 'If Tom could jet away with Zendaya and marry her in some exotic locale, he would," stated the insider. The person added that as they both have been extremely busy with work, there's a slim chance of the couple being able to tie the knot this year. Trying to line up schedules can be extremely challenging for celebrity couples. As the duo gets occupied with new projects, it is becoming more difficult for them to align their personal commitments. As per the news portal, Tom Holland is eager to start a family, but the plans get pushed further due to Zendaya's massive line-up of upcoming projects. The Euphoria star is all set to come back on the third season of the widely acclaimed show. Along with that, the actress will also be starring opposite Robert Pattinson in the upcoming romantic drama titled The Drama. Moreover, Zendaya is set to appear in Christopher Nolan's epic fantasy The Odyssey, an adaptation of Homer's eponymous epic poem. Along with Zendaya, the film casts an exciting line-up of actors, including Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland, among others. The film is set to release in July 2026. Despite the wedding delay news, fans are thrilled to witness Tom and Zendaya reuniting for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is scheduled to release in 2026. The couple first met in 2016 during the shoot of Spider-Man: Homecoming and confirmed their relationship in 2021. Later, the couple reportedly got engaged in 2024 at Zendaya's family home. Why Tom Holland and Zendaya's Wedding is Getting Delayed Even When Spider-Man Actor is Ready to Elope? Here's What We Know

Hollywood couple Tom Holland and Zendaya are deeply in love, but their wedding plans are currently on hold due to demanding work schedules and Holland's ongoing sobriety journey, according to reports. The 29-year-old Spider-Man actor is focused on promoting his zero-alcohol beer brand, a key part of his sobriety. Meanwhile, Zendaya, 28, is juggling multiple films and endorsement projects. 'If Tom could jet away with Zendaya and marry her in some exotic locale, he would,' an insider told Radar Online. 'But they are just too busy, she with work, and he with his acting and new business.' Zendaya, however, reportedly dreams of a large romantic wedding with her family present, not a quiet elopement. 'They've looked at their schedules, but there's no way to fit it in this year,' the source added. The couple's careers continue to take priority, making it difficult to align personal time. 'Trying to line up schedules can be brutal — it's one of the biggest challenges for superstar couples,' said the insider. Holland is also reportedly eager to start a family, but those plans may be pushed further into the future due to Zendaya's ongoing professional commitments. 'They're excited to live together for an extended time,' the insider said. 'Maybe then they can finally firm up those wedding plans.' Despite the delays, there is some good news. The couple will reunite on screen for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, filming together this summer. Tom and Zendaya first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. They confirmed their relationship in 2021 when the paparazzi caught them kissing at a stoplight. They reportedly got engaged in 2024 at one of Zendaya's family homes in the United States.

Zendaya's engagement ring designer opens up about her inspiration

Zendaya kept it casual when debuting her engagement ring at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this year, despite nearly breaking the internet over her 5.02-carat diamond. But it turns out, that was exactly the attitude that the jeweler behind the piece wanted. "My whole idea is of relaxed ease and fitting into your daily life,' the ring's designer, Jessica McCormack, told the New York Times in a recent interview. 'It's about functionality and fantasy, making jewels that are fun and cool but wearable and that just make you incredibly happy every time you look in the mirror.' McCormack's designs have become a go-to for those with similar sensibilities, who are looking to show off their diamonds on a more day-to-day basis. In addition to creating the cushion cut diamond for the Oakland native, her other celebrity clients include Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Zoë Kravitz, Margot Robbie and Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex. 'There's no joy if you can't see them and others can't enjoy them on you,' McCormack told the Times. Though she had no formal design training, the New Zealand-born artist has a long history of working with fine jewels and vintage pieces. She said she learned from her father, an art and antiques dealer, and found her work in Sotheby's fine jewelry department in London to be a strong foundation for her career. The designer launched her brand in 2008, drawing inspiration from the antique pieces she had come to know and love. Since 2013, she has been operating out of a storefront and workshop in London, where Zendaya and her fiancé, British actor Tom Holland, purchased a home in 2022. McCormack opened her first U.S. store in New York City on Tuesday, May 27. Holland and Zendaya met on the set of 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' in 2017, and went public with their relationship in 2021. Neither has spoken about their engagement since Zendaya debuted the ring in January, though Holland's father confirmed it on his Patreon account. Zendaya has continued to drop subtle nods to her relationship with her 'Spider-Man' co-star, from showing off her tiny 't' tattoo in honor of him during a recent Louis Vuitton photoshoot to channeling her inner bride with a Bianca Jagger-inspired Met Gala outfit. But the 'Euphoria' actor's stylist, Law Roach, confirmed that the wedding is still 'far away' due to the couple's busy schedules. Both actors are set to star in Christopher Nolan's mythic action film, 'The Odyssey,' set for release July 17, 2026. They're also slated to return to the Spiderverse in Marvel's 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day,' due out July 31, 2026. Meanwhile, Zendaya has been back on the set of Season 3 of the HBO drama ' Euphoria,' which was heavily delayed before production resumed this year.

Benson Boone would sing at Tom Holland and Zendaya's wedding

Benson Boone would gladly sing at Tom Holland and Zendaya if he were asked. The actor and actress, both 28, met on the set of Marvel's 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' in 2016, and news of their engagement was confirmed after Zendaya flashed a big, sparkly diamond ring on her left ring finger at the Golden Globes in January this year. A date for the smitten couple's special day has not been confirmed, but Benson, 22, has said he is willing to perform at their ceremony when the time comes. The 'Beautiful Things' hitmaker told E! News at the American Music Awards: "Immediate yes. Of course! I'm not going to pass that up!" His comments come after he and Tom were recently spotted having lunch together, and Benson was full of praise for the star. Asked how Benson developed a relationship with the 'Onward' actor, he said: "Just word of mouth, and it got around. Yeah, he's a great human being." According to Tom's dad, Dominic Holland, his son had "everything planned out" for how he would pop the question. The 57-year-old author wrote in a post on the community-building platform Patreon in January: "He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. "Tom had everything planned out … When, where, how, what to say, what to wear… (sic)" Tom and Zendaya went public with their romance in 2021, and she has previously admitted that she feels "extra safe" whenever she works with him. The 'Dune: Part One' actress told Vanity Fair's 2025 Hollywood Issue: "It's actually strangely comfortable. It's like second nature, if anything. You feel extra safe with the person you're acting beside. I love working with him. "He's so talented, and so passionate about what he does. He always gives things 1,000 per cent, even if he's absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him. "It feels pretty normal. That's how we met. Literally, at a chemistry read." And Tom Googles Zendaya's name to "check" if she is OK. He shared with food recipe developer Samah Dada on the 'On the Menu' podcast: "The last thing I Googled was actually Zendaya. "I'm not on [social media], and I delete it when I'm not using it. So, sometimes, like, it's more of a bit of an anxiety thing, but I'll check to see if everything's good and to make sure we're all cool. "So I just give her a little Google and look [through] the news, and I'm like, 'She's good.'"

New Spider-Man: Brand New Day Rumor Claims Three Villains Have Been Lined Up, And I'm Really Hoping One Of Them Ends Up Being Legit

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Now that Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to begin filming soon and has a spot on the upcoming Marvel movies calendar, we've been getting more frequent updates on Tom Holland's fourth solo feature as Peter Parker. The latest rumor is alleging that three specific villains have been selected for Brand New Day. While I'd certainly welcome seeing this specific trio cause trouble, there's one in particular I hope ends up being legit, as it's someone we've already spent some time with in the MCU. This rumor originated from a now-deleted Instagram post from user Chris Higashi (via ComicBookMovie), who claimed that Scorpion, Boomerang and Tombstone were revealed as the Spider-Man: Brand New Day villains at the Disney Blockbuster Consumer Products presentation in Las Vegas. Now scooper MyTimeToShineHello (again, via ComicBookMovie) is saying that Michael Mando is on deck to reprise Mac Gargan, who will become Scorpion. Mando, best known for playing Nacho Varga in Better Call Saul, first appeared as Gargan in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Needless to say all of this should be taken as a grain of salt for now, but I sincerely hope that Michael Mando is returning for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. His version of Gargan was introduced as a criminal who wanted to buy from Michael Keaton's Adrian Toomes, but Tom Holland's Spidey interrupted the sale. Gargan was left with some bad facial injuries and sent to prison, and while there, he met up with Toomes and asked if there was any truth to the rumor that he knew Spider-Man's secret identity. Related Stories Ahead Of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, The Franchise's Flash Thompson Actor Shares One Hope For The Character (And I Have Mixed Feelings) Next Summer Is Going To Be All About Tom Holland, And I Need Everyone To Start Coming Up With A Fun Spider-Man Version Of Barbenheimer Now Toomes lied and said he wasn't aware who was underneath the mask, and the Spider-Man: Homecoming end credits tease of Gargan and his 'friends' wanting to exact revenge on the Web-Slinger was never followed up on. Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home moved away from street crime in favor of spotlighting villains like Mysterio and the baddies from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man movies. We did, however, get to see an alternate version of the MCU's Gargan become Scorpion in the animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which can be streamed with a Disney+ subscription. Considering that Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin is apparently off limits for a Spider-Man movie, Tombstone works nicely as a different crime boss villain to use, and I can easily see Boomerang being one of his subordinates. However, Scorpion is one of those classic members of Spider-Man's rogues gallery who still hasn't been fully adapted on the big screen. I would absolutely be game to see Michael Mando in that green armor and whipping around that cybernetic tail trying to kill the Webbed Wonder. Since casting information has started trickling in for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, perhaps we'll learn in the coming weeks if Mando has indeed signed on. For now, Tom Holland's co-stars on the movie, which opens on July 31, 2026, include Sadie Sink (who may be playing Peter Parker's daughter from another universe) and Liza Colón-Zayas.
