After the race, participants are invited for lunch at the Langton Arms, which will be open and serving food.
The not-for-profit village event will donate its profits to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance charity and Horatio's Garden.

A spokesperson for the event said: "This is a special year for us as it is the 40th anniversary since our inaugural race way back in 1985.
"To celebrate this, every runner will receive a special 40th anniversary commemorative medal, including all the runners in the children's race."
