Janmashtami is a revered Hindu festival celebrated to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. This year, the day will be celebrated on August 16, across India with great fervour and zest. As the occasion is just around the corner, the celebrations of Janmashtami have already begun.
On Monday night, several renowned Television personalities, including Divya Agarwal, Sreejita De and Ektaa Kapoor, among others, came together for a Janmashtami-themed celebration in Mumbai. Now, several pictures and videos from the devotional gathering are surfacing online.
In one of the videos shared on Instagram, Divya Agarwal, Sreejita De, Tannaz Irani and senior actress Deepshikha Nagpal are seen enthusiastically dancing to the popular Spiritual Bhajan, Govind Bolo Hari Gopal Bolo, dressed in traditional Indian attire.
Not just this, we can also see a man and a woman dressed as Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha, dancing along with them.

As soon as the video was shared online, the comment section was swamped with reactions from fans and admirers. An Instagram user wrote, 'Jai Shree Radha Krishna." Another one commented, 'Radhe Radhe." One of them shared, 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna."
Apart from them, other TV celebs, including Ektaa Kapoor, Deepika Singh, Urvashi Dholakia and Ritu Shivpuri, among others, were also present at the event.

Janmashtami, which commemorates Lord Krishna's birth, is widely celebrated across India. While the primary celebration revolves around the same divine event, the specific rituals, traditions, and festivities differ from one region to another, highlighting India's vast cultural terrain.
The day has great significance as it commemorates the birth of Krishna, Vishnu's eighth avatar, who is known for his knowledge, charm, and divine leelas, which represent the triumph of good over evil.

Divya was last seen in the crime thriller series Abhay Season 3, along with actor Kunal Kemmu. The show premiered on the OTT platform Zee5. Srijeeta, on the other hand, last appeared on the TV show Doree, which went off air in June.
Talking about Tannaz, she has been a part of several Bollywood films, including Kaho Hai, Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai, Hadh Kar Di Aapne, Kuchh Na Kaho and 36 China Town, among others. Deepshikha, on the other hand, was last seen playing a negative role in the TV show Ishq Jabariya.
