In a finale that blended raw emotion with nerve-wracking intensity, Kushal Tanwar — fondly known as Gullu — emerged as the winner of MTV Roadies XX : Double Cross . Representing YouTuber Elvish Yadav 's gang, the underdog contestant walked away with ₹10 lakh in prize money and a Hero Kaizma bike, scripting a remarkable story of resilience and grit. Kushal made his first mark during the auditions, impressing a panel that included Elvish Yadav, Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula, Rhea Chakraborty, and Gautam Gulati. Though he started off as a strong contender, his journey took an unexpected turn when he was evicted by his own gang. Yet, like every great comeback story, Gullu returned — this time as a wildcard — and made his presence felt. View this post on Instagram A post shared by MTV Roadies (@mtvroadies) A Calculated Gamble That Paid Off Initially absorbed into Gautam Gulati's team post-eviction, Kushal stunned everyone by switching back to Elvish Yadav's gang after securing a ticket to the finale. The bold move became the turning point in his Roadies journey , setting the stage for one of the show's most emotionally charged victories. 'This win is more than just a title,' Gullu said after the finale. 'It's a silent scream finally heard. There was no one to support me, no guiding hand. I went through it all alone. But I never gave up.' His words resonated with viewers across the country, who saw in him a reflection of every person fighting to be seen, to be valued. This was Elvish Yadav's debut season as a gang leader on Roadies , and winning it with Gullu by his side added a feather to his cap. 'From Day 1, I saw fire in him,' Elvish said. 'He didn't just win tasks, he won hearts. His journey is what Roadies is all about — unpredictability, loyalty, and passion.' (Photo Credits: Instagram) The controversial reality show Bigg Boss has been creating quite a buzz amid rumours of this season's cancellation. Initial reports hinted at conflicts between the production house and the channel, leading to speculation that the show might be cancelled or shifted to another network. However, the latest updates reveal that Bigg Boss will return soon, featuring some format changes. While many popular names are rumoured to join, reports specifically suggest that Splitsvilla fame Harsh Arora is likely to participate this year. As per a Tellychakkar report, the OTT format for Bigg Boss was initially phased out entirely this year. But now, the showrunners are planning a big twist with Bigg Boss OTT 4's return in August, this time with none other than Salman Khan as host. If this goes through, Bigg Boss OTT 4 would be followed by Bigg Boss Season 19, which is expected to air in October. Confirming the same, a source told Indian Express, 'What is sure is that the show will happen with the Viacom group, mostly on Jio Hotstar, however, clarity on the same is yet to come. As of now, it's not decided if the OTT version will air first or the TV version; it might just happen in the same old way it has been running all this while." Moreover, it was reported that the upcoming season of Bigg Boss would feature only TV and film stars. There will be no social media influencers or YouTubers. Latest reports suggest that Harsh Arora, a former contestant on MTV Splitsvilla, has been approached for Bigg Boss. He was a popular contestant from his previous show, and his strategies were crucial to his success. Salman Khan is set to start filming the next season's promo around the end of June. The cast is yet to be confirmed. Earlier, the Bigg Boss 18 trophy was lifted by Karanveer Mehra. The actor had to compete against Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal for the award. While Vivian was the first runner-up, Rajat finished second, followed by Avinash Mishra and Chum Darang. Sana Makbul had won Bigg Boss OTT 3.
