For Purdue, though, the Over is on a 5-0 run, with Purdue lighting up the scoreboard for 90+ points in 3 of those games. It has allowed 72 or more points in 3 in a row, too. I've got the Boise State (-1000) winning and covering at home on Friday night, so I'll take my wager to the spread and a better value. BET BOISE STATE -13.5 (-115). San Jose State has been a bettor's dream this season, sitting at 17-4-1 ATS and an impressive 8-0-1 in their last 9 games. They even covered against Boise State in December. But that was at home, and this matchup is a much tougher challenge. San Jose State's defense is a big concern. They rank second-to-last in the Mountain West, giving up 72.7 points per game (PPG). KenPom doesn't love them either, placing them 220th in adjusted defensive efficiency with a 108.7 rating. That's a tough look against a Boise State team that plays well on both ends. The Broncos have covered in 3 straight games, including 2 at home. They boast the second-best defense in the conference, allowing just 66.4 PPG, while also putting up 77.1 PPG offensively. KenPom has them 42nd in offensive efficiency with a strong 115.9 rating. With 4 players averaging in double figures, Boise State has a well-balanced attack, led by Degenhart, who averages 17.7 PPG while shooting 51.6% from the field. San Jose State's defense makes it hard to trust them in this spot. Boise State should control both ends of the floor and cover the number on Friday night. BET OVER 141.5 (-115). Boise State's defense is tough, but this game still leans Over. The Over has hit in 8 of the last 10 meetings between these teams, including their matchup earlier this season. San Jose State has also seen the Over cash in 4 of its last 5 games.
