Shelbourne to face Shamrock Rovers in Women's FAI Cup quarter-finals

Holders Shelbourne have been drawn with Shamrock Rovers in the quarter-finals of the Sports Direct Women's FAI Cup. The draw, which took place at the FAI headquarters in Dublin, also paired last season's runners-up Athlone Town away to Peamount United. The remaining non-league side in the competition Newbridge Town have been handed a home draw with Bohemians in what promises to be a memorable occasion in Kildare. DLR Waves' reward for knocking out Sligo Rovers is another clash with a Premier Division side as Treaty United are set to be the visitors to UCD. DLR Waves are currently bottom of the league, but picked up their first win of the season a week-and-a-half ago when they were 1-0 winners over Rovers at The Showgrounds.
